Step aside Tenchu, Ghost of Tsushima is getting hype then ever!

The Way of the Samurai it should have been but that's another story. GoT, Sucker Punch latest game since Infamous: Second Son, this is there latest work yet and what better way to say goodbye for PS4 as we enter next-gen this holiday season. Not to make this thread any longer, I'll just throw in few things to get ya hype up!

Seriously, any fan of Akira Kurosawa should be hype as hell for Ghost of Tsushima, its the current Tenchu game it should have been out by now. I'm going for an 8/10 and Metascore prediction is 81-85.

Think this will be an ok game, not amazing, fairly average, bolstered in appeal by it's setting.

Hyped for the game! Dont know if I ever played an open world samurai slash ninja game so this gonna be something.

Rote open-world quest structures often feel dull

@R4gn4r0k: It does look nice, but apparently it's so dark reviewers couldn't see what the **** was going on at times.

To be fair you just know from looking at it lol.

It's a generic AAA game with a samurai theme and shit combat.

Game looks great and I do look forward to playing it whenever I get around to it, probably when it hits the bargain bin.

@sakaixx: Judging by the game and those pics you posted, its what "Way of the Samurai" should have been...for a long time.

I only play the first Nioh but not the second just yet. Too early to tell for myself but I can compare two and say they are both doing there own Samurai thing.

I couldn't agree more. 7 isn't a bad score.

I expected it to review a bit better but, I'm hyped nonetheless. Time to go read and watch some reviews.

@davillain-: Not getting the comparison with Way of the Samurai here, sure, same setting, but that game is designed to be essentially be ground-hog day experimenting to see what paths are possible in a tight experience incrementally extended, dictated and augmented by the player be it fail and win states.

On paper, think it's probably more interesting than yet another open world game.

It's really hard to take gamespot reviews seriously. I remembered when they did Doom Eternal the reviewer said that there were too much tools in that game. I would just play and see.

That's fair, although my last Way of the Samurai game was 3 on PS3 and while the series never evolve in a way, and I'm shocked we never got an actual PS4 of the series and its why Ghost of Tsushima felt like the evolution towards Way of the Samurai...well in a way :)

Eh, likely another 20 hour mediocre cookie cutter once and done game on the PS Bore. lol :P

I expected it to review a bit higher. The game LOOKS amazing anyway. I wanna see the B/W mode.

The only thing that I want to hear from a review is:

Does it run good? Does it have any noticable performance issues?

Does it have a lot of bugs and glitches?

How are the options and tools to cater the experience to your taste?

I honestly don't really care about if someone else likes a game or not, it has no impact on what types of games I enjoy.

I'm honestly not surprised at all, and called it when I saw the E3 demo. It looks like a good game, nothing else. Suckerpunk aren't exactly Naughty Dog level in terms of being a dev.

I don't enjoy open-world games so this is a pass for me. Still, with stuff like Dreams, TLOU2, FF:7 remake and this... Sony went out with a bang. Excellent year for them.

IGN gave it a 9/10 but for some reason, IGN site is broken and I can't link the review until they fix the issue.
