steam is pure garbage

I got steam in 2004 when i got half life 2 in 2004 free with the purchase of an ati radeon graphics card i wrote my password and username on the card that had the registry key to unlock half life 2 for free.

Well i have never cheated online on or talked shit and guess what? it says my username doesnt exist wtf is this shit?Steam itself is a drm and why do games on steam still requires cd keys thats retarded by itself and then the support for steam is absolute garbage you cannot call them no phone number and when i tried to email them the site says they are no longer taking email support ques.

LOL digital downloading is flawed because you need a login name and password and someone can also steal your acount which is probley what happened.

I also got Steam in 2004 with my copy of Half Life 2, i still have that account and 100's of other games on it and it's an awesome service, sorry to hear you've had a bad experience with it.

I just recently reclaimed my orange box,

I bought it long time ago and made an account and what not,

but my computer wasn't even capable of running, hell it chugged running ut99.

so I decided to revisit my old account after gaming on steam for a year,

and whadaya know,

my orange box was still waiting for me and all I had to do is download it.

Nope im not getting my login and password wrong if you google steam acount doesnt exist hundreds of people have had this issue.

Digital downloading sucks because it requires a login and password and people can steal ur acount.

if you have an email,

then obviously you are capable of setting up a login and password.

shit you have to have one to log onto gamespot.

Yahoo email changed i cant even log into my email i used when i signed up for even steam support.

I understand being upset, but this isn't a digital problem. Way more physical content gets stolen then digital, and digital content is easier to restore. It isn't like you can call Sony or Microsoft if someone breaks in and steals your console and disks.

Someone would need to steal your email address to even be able to access the account. They can't access it without confirmation which is sent to your email.
