Star Citizen- Alpha 3.0 Trailer.

CIG has released a new trailer for Star Citizen, showcasing all the new features that will be included in its Alpha 3.0 version. Some of them are moon landings, planetary rover, and the Nox hover speeder. It looks great, so be sure to watch the trailer.

@Cloud_imperium Just to be clear, this is not a CIG trailer, it was made by PCGamer for their article. It's basically SC sneak peaks cut together.

Ot at least not from CIGs official channel. Maybe it was put together by them for PCGamer...who knows.

this game is one of the reasons why i'll be investing in a high end gaming PC real soon. playing this in 4k will be breathtaking.

The graphics arent really that impressive anymore... I hope the scale delivers what was promised and most of all, proper gameplay.

Looking forward to 3.0. The first stage in the alpha becoming a game, it's full speed ahead from here towards 4.0 and then beta.

Shame they decided to hold it till Gamescon in August.

People have been saying the same as you since the first hangar module released and that's a shadow of what we can see now.

W/e makes you feel better m8. Personaly I didnt find the graphics in that video any impressive and I used to find the 1st videos impressive. I just think the game is taking way too long to release for its own good. Things I found impressive five years ago arent really that impressive anymore

Besides, the trailer is clearly made by CIG. They have only given it exclusively for PCGamer.

@Vatusus: If the graphics hadn't improved massively over the past 4.5 years of development then I'd fully agree with you.

Horizon Zero Dawn, which (I'm sure arguably) has the best graphics available on any console today, took around 6 years to develop and the entire game is tiny in comparison to Star Citizen. Of course if you want to consider single v single player, Squadron 42 is also in development as well.

I know they are using cyrengine (called something else), but this is ridiculous. Mouse cursor at 0:53 is the same as in Crysis and the guy at 1:19 is just a slightly modded psycho.

It matters to me. I've been through too many CIG trailers and delays to be hyped.

I'll only allow myself to be hyped when they launch an official trailer because only then will I know that release for 3.0 is imminent.

I know it's from them but I'm waiting for a "REALLY" official trailer for 3.0 like the one we got for 2.0 at Gamescom.

I've been burnt too many times by delays to be hyped by the stuff they send to PC gamer. I want a trailer from them like the ones on their website that show what's releasing on the particular update and a launch date.

They don't give exact release dates, even when the release is within a week :/

The graphics are not the same as the first ones 5 years ago they got 100 times better, and it is better than most AAA PC games nowadays.

where is then single player footage? its a game to be released before MMO but they didnot bother to show a single footage plus keep delaying every year.

None of the capital ships for one, no AI inside of the ships, bunch of the wrecks they showed off wouldn't be in 3.0 either.

This is just a montage done by PC gamer, not an official trailer. Is 3.0 still releasing on 29th of June?

Compare current graphics to 1 year old build. The game is still being worked on. It'll keep improving both gameplay wise and visually.

But does it have a final release date? One doesn't simply collect over 100 million dollars and not produce something right?
