Achievement unlocked.

I realize that games have had easter egss and hidden items in them, but really they didn't even try to disguise that.
I'm suprised they didn't have the little pluck achievement sound effect substituted with a twang.

Seriously, it was just something I noticed and really didn't mean too much when I posted about it until somebody got ultra defensive, thus bringing about my second post. Uncharted is 1 of 2 PS3 games that I want to play this year the other being R & C:TOD.Lets be real here, it is a blatant ripoff or homage of the achievement system, it's been very successful for MS and it was only a matter of time before it was implemented in PS3 games, where it will turn form being a useless feature to being "innovative"...
Alright?
The main character still screams GENERIC to me.
I don't mean just that he's a regular guy. I mean, GENERIC.
there has been some form of achievements in games before ms used them so stop saying they stole itpotato66You're right. I remember many games actually telling you you unlocked an achievement, by posting a message at the bottom of the screen..that said "Achievement unlocked" I remember many Playstation games doing this by posting the "Reward unlocked" alert...
Oh wait....No I don't. Of course unlockables and easter eggs aren't new, It would have helped if you actually read my entire post. I said they ripped off the achievement alert, which they did, because I guarantee that if the achievement alerts in XBL weren't so popular you would not see them in Uncharted. It's already been proven that people love the achievement unlocked alert and the whole idea of achievements in their current form. And yes for that you have MS to thank for it.

Don't worry too much about crazy lemming logic. When they found out XBL would cost money they all suddenly believed that freeonline gaming was impossible and never been donebefore...even though PCs were doing it for ever.
