Sony's release schedule the next 3 months is insanely good

• March - Persona 5 Royal
• April - Final Fantasy 7 Remake
• May - Last of Us 2 Part 2
• June - Ghost of Tsushima

These are all Sony releases and they're looking mighty good, SW. I'd probably be a little jelly if I didn't get to play these. Also, Sony has had a couple of great releases already with Dreams and Nioh 2. Can we agree Sony is rocking 2020 so far?

They haven't stopped rocking since the ps1 came out in 95!

Will pick up ff7 ( not an exclusive btw) and maybe TLOU2, probably not release though

How many of hours of cut scenes is that combined? Persona alone has like 50.

Call me when Sony have games that are more focused on gameplay than cutscene watching.

Don't know, don't care. TLOU2 & Ghost of Tsushima is the only 2 PS4 games I'm looking forward to.

TLoU2 and GoT i'll be buying on PS5, or at least running it on PS5. Persona and FF7 are day one for me.

Well, I wouldn't hold my breath seeing how well their exclusives scores and sells, Sony just may be heading in the right direction with these cinematic driven games.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake and maybe Ghost of Tsushima

Only interested in one of those upcoming games. P5R seems like a cash grab that will not live up to the hype, and Ghost of Tsushima and TLoU 2 both appear to be stealth games, which I don't like.

Dreams and Nioh 2 aren't my kind of games.

So FF7R is all Sony has for me with PS4, looks like.

LOL! Watching a live-action TV show that stuck out like a sore thumb between each act was not a successful experiment. Which was too bad because I kind of liked the game.

I'll play Persona 5 Royal. It's a bit of a rip-off, but I like Persona 5 enough to pay full price again for some DLC.

I'm not too excited about anything else on the list:

- I might play FF7R when it hits the bargain bins at the end of the year, or in 5+ years time when the rest of the story starts releasing. The only new PS4 JRPG I want this year is Yakuza 7

- I never got around to playing my copy of The Last of Us. I tried the Uncharted games and *hated* them, so I don't have high hopes for this series

- I don't know anything about Ghosts ot Tsushima, but it's made by the team behind Infamous so that'll probably land it in the 7-8 territory

I'm glad we've got P5R though. That'll give me something to do while my fiance plays Animal Crossing on the Switch.

MLB The Show 20 this Tuesday, caught a few streams on Twitch, not my cup of tea but looks good and seems to pack a good amount of content/modes.

Never could get into Persona.

Only reason I'm paying FFVII any mind is because of nostalgia, but still on the fence and leaning towards a nah.

Don't know much of shit about Ghosts of Tsushima, should look into it more.

TLOU2, yeah I'll probably play at some point. Never understood the mega hype for the first game, but it's a good game. I'd expect the sequel to have some satisfying gameplay segments and at the very least, it's going to be a masterclass in production values.

Just my take of course. Not crazy enthused about any of these, but I know these are big deal games for a lot of people.

I might just budge for a PS5 and play some of these there. Going from PC to my basic bitch PS4 just feels gross every time.

Last of us 2 and ghosts day ones FF 7 I can't condone episodic for an RPG so will wait until the full game is out.

Yeah right enough, Sony are on fire this year it has to be said. Will be hard for the others to compete with that lineup for sure.

I have never played a Persona game but I have Royal pre-ordered. Read nothing but good things about 5.

I am also looking forward to FF7.

Thanks Sony for the games. Don't forget about Dreams and Nioh 2! I think a new MLB is coming this week or next. Also for PC players Horizon releasing soon for PC for its a treat for everyone!

They will just end up on PC like most of their games, so I will just wait for that.

I hate the look of Persona. Just generic modern anime, very boring shapes, men who don't look like men and women with simplistic heads, all of 'em really lanky, no chins, minimal jaws, tiny noses. Give me Akira, Hayao Miyazaki, Urasawa stuff like Monster, Satoshi Kon, Wicked City, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Samurai Champloo, the cuteness of Gunsmith Cats, Ghost in the Shell 1995, Redline, even the super stylized broad-shouldered manly men from Ninja Scroll over this modern SHIT any day. Even Rose of the Versailles from 1979 had more charm in its girly designs than this terribly generic crap.

Nothing on the list that I want to get, but that is ok as I just got Langrisser 1+2 two days ago, Animal Crossing in a few days (3/20), and Trials of mana next month (April 24). That is the joy of the Video Game Industry. There really is something for everyone!

@Planeforger: TLOU is way different from UC. Not just in tone but mechanically. IMO TLOU smokes UC - a dramatically more mature and engaging game that only UC4 rises to the occasion of (because they learned a lot from TLOU by their own words). Give it a try, you might be surprised. Granted it is still obviously a ND game, and there are a lot of cutscenes and some awkward controls (but the cutscenes tell a good story). Play it on PS4 at unlocked framerate - forget that 30fps nonsense

Ori 2 is the only game across all systems that I had interests in this year(I almost forgot Command and Conquer:Remastered). I may gave HL:Alyx a shot. I am hoping either Sony or MS gives me something worth my time later this year for their newer systems.

That being said the fourth uncharted is a wild ride so far. I mean I have been having a good time with it because the story. Otherwise it is basically a poormans gears of war with handholding platforming.

Spider-Man is probably the best ps4 exclusive overall. Good story and gameplay.

Having a good game story is not really hard though given how poorly written most are.

So hats off to Sony on Spider-Man but Xbox games just give more bang for their buck.

I mean halo, gears of war, forza, killer instinct are highly replayable and not one and done games

@tomalevine: halo, gears and Forza have been stale for years. They are irrelevant. They don’t push anything forward like they used to. Those series peaked on the 360 and sucked all this gen with Xbone.

Gears 4/5 were absolutely one and done games. Trash compared to gears 1-3.
