Sony's PS3 Disappointment Timeline Continued

This is what SW is all about. Great links and timeline. The VF5 coming to 360 is a big deal. I think it's the beginning of many Playstation "exclusives" going to the 360.Berserker_2

- 360 gets PS3 grahical upgrades in Oblivion through patch

- PS3 has no AA in Oblivion as 360 has

- Can't load all DL content at once

Is this ownage added to the timeline of dissapointment ?

Sony invented this 10 years ago but felt we weren't ready for it, but now they think the world is ready and decided to file the patent.  At least that's what they'll say 2 years from now. Well that, and that Nintendo stole their idea, like rumble and analog sticksScalIywag

Nope.  It's all there in black n white.  Makes you wonder if they can be taken to court for constantly doing business in this manner.

Electronic Gaming Monthly, in an interview with Sony's Jack Tretton in early January, mentioned the recent availability of his company's console: "...it seemed like about 50 percent of the people in line were there to make a quick buck on eBay. And now we're seeing a lot more units on store shelves." Jack seemed a tad surprised by this, but he put his money where his mouth is: "If you can find a PS3 anywhere in North America that's been on shelves for more than five minutes, I'll give you 1,200 bucks for it. I can get any retail buyer on the phone with you and get them to verify that there's not a single retail location in America where there's a PlayStation 3 on the shelf for sale. They've all been sold in a matter of minutes." After EGM let Tretton know they had indeed phoned 18 stores and found half of them had PS3s in stock, some stores with as many as 20 consoles, Jack held firm "if only nine of the 18 stores you contacted had supplies, that seems to be a clear indication that sales continue to be outstanding." So there you have it, Jack's not backing down. We're guessing our check is already in the mail.

-major firmware update
-less of a shortage reaching almost 2 - 6 mill mark
-Euro Launch
- Amazing games
-Better graphics and understand of making games

Ownage hurts when you realize is true.

Since the launch of the PS3, there have been widespread reports that the PS3 has been randomly deleting PS2 Virtual Memory Card Saves, seemingly at random. Having experienced the loss of over 50+ hours of Grand Theft Auto on my PS3 (after my PS2 saves were somehow corrupted), I contacted SCEA, only to be shrugged off. PS3 owners demand answers...

If this is already on the forum, sorry, but I just wanted to make sure. If you can't even get your own people to say your product/service is superior, who's gonna do it? Here's an interview w/ Phil Harrison in which he states that the 360 supports devs more than the PS3...
