So microsoft wanted to bring PC along to the (console) party and introduced Xbox one streaming with Windows 10.

Sony has been doing streaming for a while now to Vita, but comon... Who even has a vita ?

A few days ago there was news of a modder/developer who managed to make PS4 streaming possible to PC. And now Sony itself has announced they are indeed working on that.

@cainetao11: Remote play ? It actually interests me because I do have a vita.

I think it can cause troubles at times (control input) and your wifi needs to be good.

I find this to be a little too coincidental, I think they hired him.

Or they shut down his project and the next day go: Hey, look at this awesome NEW idea we came up with.

Hopefully they hired him :)

The best thing ever would be streaming PC games to Vita. Using Vita as the screen and controller and PC for games/power.

If only Vita was open source *_*

Always assumed this was in the cards after the positive press the Bone got for Win10 streaming. Considering Sony's experience streaming from the PS4 it seems to be a fairly straightforward matter to make an app for Windows. They could even extend compatibility back to older Windows versions.

I enjoy remote play with my vita to the point that I use it for some games more than the TV, which can get a lot of competition. If it's done well I might use this instead of vita sometimes. I'm never opposed to more options.

What games do you play via remate play on Vita ?

Great feature on games with forgiving input delay like strategy, TBS RPGs, puzzle, etc.

Doubt fighters can make much use of it.

I don't see anyone recommending SteamOS to anybody unless you're a budget or entry-level PC gamers that wants their gaming experience feel like a peasant experience.

Allowing people to use their mouse and keyboard would get the interest of PC gamers, not the ability to stream to a PC and play the exact same way as on a TV.

I still find it useless in my situation.

The more features the better, but I still don't plan on using just like I wouldn't use it on Xbox 1.

So no....its not the best thing ever.

Still couldn't care less... How is this feature useful unless you have kids and would rather watch tv then watch a game or you are a child who is not allowed to play his game where the console is located.

I know SteamOS will never be that popular as Windows for gaming. But it could be a way to show there are indeed gamers on linux.

I didn't know that PS3 streamed to PC. There hasn't ever been a console that streamed to PC before. Its new territory and I think that MS should be praised for it.

OT all this really does is prove that PC is the real king of gaming. Now even the few exclusives on PS4 will be playable along with the Xbox One exclusives.

It streamed to PSP and the PS4 to Vita is the concept of streaming to other devices what i refer to not to just PC.

So no MS should not be praised for something others did before it,much like this gen they are given credit for PC vs xbox one gameplay when sony did that last gen to and this gen from day 1 to without having to wait for an update for windows 10,or like mods on PS3 which MS also wanted to push this gen but that have no materialize.

Why would anyone want to stream games from any console to PC.? Is a redundant features worthless if you ask me,much like using the xbox one for TV.

Use 3 devices to do the job 2 can do better.

The T.V. feature on the Xbox One is one of the best features it has to offer. It allows me to check on things without changing the channel. The ability to watch basketball and dabble with a game at the same time is nice. Also, you're not going to convince anyone that MS is the copy cat since Sony has been stealing every idea from MS since the 360 and they continue to do so.

In fact sony took it to a new level PSN now allow you to stream games to consoles tablets and even TV without even owning a PS3.

Yes because it is super easy to focus on a game when you have a basketball game in a small window.

Really.? MS has been stealing them since the ps2, so your controller has 2 analogues why is that.?

The OG xbox had DVD why was that.?

How about HDD on OG xbox.? Did you knew the PS2 came with a hole for an HDD and was MS who stole the whole idea in fact it came in Japan before the xbox was even out.

How about Blu-ray.? A whole generation latter.

So now you can play vs PC gamers lol been there done that for sony.

How about those games with gold you get now.? PSN+.?

While Sony has get some ideas from MS the same could be say about MS it self,in many ways.

Huh? It's impossible to watch 2 things at once, but pausing the game or checking in on a score doesn't take long at all with the feature. Not sure why people downplay that feature. Blu Ray was more so of MS making the wrong choice and betting on the wrong horse. Most of the feature of XBL were adopted by Sony. There was a recent survey asking which features you would like the PS4 to have and most of those are already on XBL. It's sad they are so far behind. They really aren't innovators.

Yes i can pause the game and do that on the Picture and picture of my TV dude..

Without even changing the input on my TV.

Really call me when you get gameshare on xbox live, you know playing with your friend co-op even if you don't own the game,or simple controlling your friends game and helping him pass a stage or a difficult part, now that is innovation.

Maybe next gen MS will get it now that is a good game related feature, but the xbox one has features over PSN to you have Pizza hut app..lol Using my xbox instead of my phone to order a pizza now that is innovation.

lol
