Hey, I can admit that Sony screwed up with there show. It was pretty much a shit show with no announcements. To be honest I expected more out of them.

Sony skipping E3 solidifies that E3 is becoming more and more useless.

@that_old_guy: Not with that "State of Play" that released. It's their first one, and a way to make serious new ground in terms of announcing games... It was shit. If they had released a solid show reel, then i'd be far more inclined to agree.

We already know of a bunch of big things. Good but skated for this year. You’re right....you do want to make a good first impression, but they already have everything out in the open for us to know about.

Either way, that State of Play doesn’t negate the fact that E3 isnt needed for consumers.

Nintendo already does its own Directs...Rockstar just doesn’t ever care....PC tries but no one cares bc like everything else they get their info elsewhere.

One bad Sony direct doesn’t mean a thing. What if every one after this is a killer? It just means it took extra time.....basically prolonging the inevitable....not declaring the inevitable to not exist.

I never understood the E3 hate State of Play sucked it felt like I was watching sneak previews before the big show was suppose to start well it never did.

The ps4 is the only current console I own and have to say a good part of their e3's stunk. Last years was a complete disaster so maybe they are skipping e3 because they are out of juice. The other possibility is to reveal everything at their own event regarding the ps5.
