Most impressive on the list of items is one for the collectors out there. A 16” statue featuring a scowling Ellie brandishing a large bowie knife is available to order, though it won’t ship until December. The figure was created using actual in-game assets, an impressive method used to sculpt this collectible. Here’s the product details for this piece:

It’s time to head to Seattle with Ellie from The Last of Us Part II. This Ellie statue shows an angry Ellie with both hands on the machete for extra power ready to strike. Her clothes are ripped and worn but she has revenge on her mind. In-game files were used in creating Ellie (a big thank you to the Naughty Dog team) and she stands approximately 16” tall (i.e. 1:4 scale) from the bottom of the moss covered stone and dirt base to the top of her head. The Ellie statue is made using polystone resin and is skillfully hand-crafted and painted by artisans*. The Ellie statue includes deluxe, full-color packaging, a hand-numbered base and a validation card.

Ellie's new statue is priced at $529.99 while supplies last.

For 500+ dollars and only 16 inches tall I'd better be getting a flawless recreation and if the prototype plainly fails to capture that, then what incentive is there to preorder?

I’ve seen much better statues then that that I would spend that kind of money. Then again I have no real attachment to the source material.

3D print_rs cost less than that, if there was a file to duplicate, one could get one for less, considering one is also a skilled modeling painting hobbyist.

Last year there was a $500+ statue released for outbreak day and it's the exact same thing as this. Not a new statue. I remember seeing it and not being overly impressed. I consider myself a bit of a mega fan, but $500 is a bit much for a statue. Anyway, here is the blogspot from last year and you can see it's nothing new. It would have to be something really fucking impressive for $500, considering how the cows think two figurines for $30 plus some DLC is the worst business practice ever.

Hard to say, as most of my collectibles consist of POP's, Amiibo's, and Totaku's. Only one is a Todd McFarlane toy.

I pre-ordered this one tenth scale for 140, my first of these kinds of figures. Had some second thoughts about the price, but looking at that one marked 530 with the same kind of detail, it seems like a bargain now.
