Very good. Work on Days Gone must be finished up now, or at a point where they can focus on future projects.

I'm guessing this "new IP" will be a cinematic 3rd person action game..

Anyway, Days Gone isn't out, UC:GA wasn't good and what the hell is Syphon Filter? Can't say I'm super hyped.

Used to love Syphon Filter. Interested to see what they have up their sleeve.

Well I’ll take a wait and see approach with these guys myself as I never really got into the Syphon Filter games, never played Uncharted: Golden Abyss, and am kind of on the fence about Days Gone. Whether something is a “new IP” or not isn’t terribly important to me, I just want a game that I’ll enjoy.

Could just be Days Gone they're referring to. It's still technically a new IP since it hasn't released yet.

Notice this is a listing for a PS4 game, not a "Playstation" game if it were next-gen.

While there's a good chance they'll make a new IP after, this is almost guaranteed to be them recruiting more people for Days Gone since it's a new PS4 exclusive IP. They wouldn't be starting on another PS4 exclusive this far out.

The wording says "Sony bend creator of Days Gone, Syphon Filter, and Uncharted: Golden Abyss is looking for talent for... a new AAA PS4 exclusive".

If they were hiring for Days Gone, they wouldn't have included Days Gone in the list then went on to specify they are hiring for a "new AAA PS4 exclusive". That implies it is another game. Although I don't necessarily read that it is another new IP, it could be, or it could be a "new game" for an existing franchise.

I mean it's possible it is Days gone and this was just a poorly worded, but if I'm taking the words to mean anything it means new IP other than Day's Gone.

Damn the games just won't stop coming.

Will they actually branch out, or are we still going further down the Ubisoft road using their standard template for samey TPS action cinematic games?

They did a good job on Golden Abyss. It's actually the only reason I still have my PSV.

Perhaps an E3 2019 announcement for these guys.

Great news.. More games the better!

Because they're launch games, usually made in a hurry to match console release dates or close to them. First party games arent the only culprits of this, look at Watch Dogs 1 or Destiny for ex, definitely released unfinished so that they could release soon after the console launch

Two years of development (at best) is nothing these days. You rarely see proper and complete games at a console's launch. BotW only managed to be good and a complete game because it was in development for the WiiU for many years already.

Looking forward to Days Gone. Wouldn't mind them getting back into Syphon Filter...loved that taser!

At least I played the Order. It isn't garbage imo. Its problem is watching so much and QTE melee fights. The gun play is better than Uncharted and the weapons are cool. But its as is.

Whereas Sea of Thieves will only grow in content. So about how much first hand experience you have in it...........

And they should be. I don't see Days Gone being all that good from what I've seen.

Don't care much about SoT but as a more Sony kind of guy, TO's gunplay feels better than uncharted and I'm not sure why. Don't have the game anymore though so I can't analyze.

Stop understimating Sony 3d person games. Notice how they sell out quick and get 95+ in Metacritic? The game is going to be amazing.

@recloud: So you basically do just follow what is posted by reviewers. Understood.

I will continue to say this, when they pay for my games, i will care what they score games. I have my own backbone. Sea of thieves is a mediocre game but unlike a SP game it can grow like R6S did. Time will tell.

@MonsieurX: I will admit though, I had fun with the Order. I made fun of it, there is a chapter that is just walking and listening to dialogue and qte melee fights blew chunks, but i liked the setting, weapons, story and gunplay. It's mediocre to fair Imo but i had fun with it.

I have fun in sea of thieves with friends. And again, at least it has hopes of growing and improving. Knack and Order do not.

God please give me a game with less movie and ALOT more action!

I would love to see another great platformer like my favorite Sony Series: Ratchet and Clank!
