Sonic Frontiers score predictions

Looks like the bigger six out of ten i have ever seen. Hell, to me it looks even worse, but i don't think it'll get lower than that.

I'm calling it now, but it's going to be GOTY.

God of War Ragnarok is just an appetizer for the main gaming event of the year.

God of War Ragnarok is like, when you're waiting in line to get on a roller coaster, and that safety spiel video that plays before the ride; that's Ragnarok.

I was real down on this game. But the more they’ve showed, the more hyped I get. But let’s be honest, at the end of the day it’s still Sonic.

11 for sure. This is the one where they will nail it. 8th or 9th time is the charm.

I'm pretty much up there with you on this as I almost look the other way until more recent better vids started to win me over picking this up. I'll be generous and go with a 7/10.

I have a good feeling for this sonic I am going trust them with a really high for a sonic game 81% meta, 7 gamespot.

I predict a 6/10. Not terrible, but not good either.

Iunno, a 6/10? Seems to be what Sonic Team can achieve at most.

First, you need gameplay that feels good. Something they're terrible at.
Then you take into consideration that the game is open world, whereas other open world games suck ass most of the time, and this is being made by freaking Sonic Team.
Then you take into consideration that their games are usually riddled with bugs. Doesn't bode well for an open world game..

One of those games you look forward to talk shit about.

but this will still be better than breath of the wild.

People will still feel good about it because it didn't score a 4 because their standards for sonic games are in the basement already.

Think of how many people could've been lifted out of poverty from the money that was poured into bad sonic games.... I'm kind of hoping sonic doesn't survive this game... Like, maybe it's time to kill him off?

Frontiers is the second game I'm buying this year, so I'm excited since I finally have something new worth playing. The story also seems to be the most interesting since Adventure 1 or 2, so I'm intrigued about that as well this time.

Sonic Prime comes out next month on Netflix, so I might binge that too if it's on par with the other Sonic cartoons. It's been a fun time for Sonic fans with the movie, game, and show in '22.

As we mentioned earlier yesterday, Sonic Frontiers has unfortunately suffered a leak. The street date for Sonic Frontiers was broken by multiple retailers, and then some more unsavory people decided to rip the ROM and leak it online. Since then, social media has been filled with gameplay footage, music and major spoilers.

While there’s no doubt every developer at SEGA is upset about this situation, Sonic Frontiers sound director Tomoya Ohtani voiced his frustration about the matter on Twitter.

Please don’t leak the unreleased Sonic Frontiers tracks and spoil the game to everyone, it makes me sad to see people ruining the experience for others.

Ohtani clearly feels the Sonic Frontiers soundtrack is something special, and he feels the music is best heard through the context of the game itself. Hopefully those who love the Sonic franchise have managed to avoid spoilers of all kinds, and can hold onto that safety until November 8th, 2022.

Hoping for a MC of 80 but not really sure what to expect have a hard time trusting a 3d sonic to be good even though some of the last videos showen looked really good.

Will never happen. SEGA still sees Sonic as their mascot, to the point where they will sacrifice their other IPs (one of such was Bayonetta during a restructure). With movies and Smash Bros involved too.

Problem isn't Sonic but the developer behind him.

Instead of getting the fundamentals down it's literally (not literally) Homer Simpsons makeup shotgun of throwing shit at the wall and praying it comes together.

Become almost an annual thing where they declare they want X entry to score well. When the problem is them.

Feels like they were generous with that 7/10.

Technically if you look at switch version meta it got 90% out of one review. Sonic is back baby.

It’s sad that this game will probably sell more than GoW. What have we become?
