Some exciting news from the past week.. Capcom confirms Lady Dimitrescu is 9'6

Tomonori Takano, art director on Resident Evil Village, shared a message with fans in light of Lady Dimitrescu’s internet fame. “I hear her height is something of interest...” he writes, which is certainly true. “If you include her hat and high heels, she’s 2.9m (approximately 9’6”) tall.”

Lol, in case you missed it, Lady Dimitrescu was confirmed to be 9'6 this week. Is this the most interesting character gaming has had in recent time? I would say so. Can't really remember when there was a character or villain that got me interested for a game. Thoughts, SW? Does this character make you even more interested in playing RE8?

As for the lady, she's just a rule 63'd Tyrant with big boobs and Freddy Krueger claws.

My guess is Capcom fueled hype. Have some of their paid sponsors talk about her a lot, try to make a big deal out of her, and create the illusion that there is some kind of importance. Most people couldn't care less, I certainly couldn't. Heck, I don't really even care about the game, but if I did, it wouldn't be because of some mutant broad.

That's nice. Still not interested in the game. But it certainly makes for a lot of Rule 34 material.

I love the memes being made for this thing, but i really don't see any attraction toward a bigass dinosaur like that. This is also great free marketing and gets the game on a lot of peeps radar.

I think the execs over at Capcom have resorted to pulling random words out of a hat when deciding on their next villains. Cannibal family to giant vampire ladies. I wonder if even Capcom knows which direction they are going with the series anymore as it seems like they're just throwing a bunch of crap at the wall to see what sticks.

I've seen this a couple of times.

But like... the first game had as 20 foot snake, and Tarantulas the size of a cow.

In CV it kind of already had a demonic lady with Wesker doing Dragonball shit.

And then like from RE4 it just went completely mental. 4/5/6 are closer to a James Bond movie with monsters.

So yea, new out-there takes aren't something new to the series and I don't really get some of the resentment for these last two beyond the change to first person.

If anything thought 7 was creatively boring. Texas Chainsaw Massacre with very little of the eccentricities that make the series interesting and fun.

Sure, but the big sharks, giant snakes, bugs, and other creatures all existed for the same reason. Umbrella was experimenting with genetics for the purpose of creating weapons. Vampires, werewolves, and witches just seems like an entirely different genre. And number 7 didn't even look or feel like a Resident Evil title. It looks like an indie horror game Capcom bought the rights to and rebranded

No shame in wanting a giant big-badonkered confidant lady to step on you.

Yes and I enjoy watching Sharknado...for guilty pleasure😁
