Some actual gameplay from Ascent and Bright memory

Hey look, we got some actual gameplay footage from two of the games of the Xbox show.

Ascent:

Bright menory:

Both look decent. Ascent kind of repetitive, but I guess that comes with the genre. Bright memory has some cool ideas for sure, mixing guns, katana and various skills.

No next-gen feel to either though.

"The Ascent" puts me to sleep and "Bright Memory" makes my eyes bleed...

Ascent looks pretty decent. Bright Memory... Meh. I already played Shadow Warrior.

The Ascent looked really good, looking forward to checking out the online co-op and seeing what kind of playstyle options are available (weapons, loadouts, customization, .. ).. The setting, visual effects, etc are impressive..

Bright Memory looks fairly decent considering it was made by one guy apparently.. looks like intentionally over-the-top action along with a maybe unintentionally cliché story.. considering one person made this game, i wonder how much depth, scope, and story the final product is actually going to have.. i really liked the Dark Souls touch with the Bonfire lol.. 👍
