So the Arkham remasters look like poo?

Some of the shots he's showing make the remaster look like shit. Who did the remaster?

Better in some areas, worst in others. Give and take.

I personally will not be rebuying this for slightly better graphics. The originals already looked great. How about some backwards compatibility instead sony and Microsoft?? So we don't need to buy the same games every few years.

In most cases it looks far better... so I'll wait for reviews.

You can just buy it off from steam for cheap on sale and look for mods( if any) and you'll be good.

If people played the games properly on PC in the first place, there would be no need for these remasters.

This is Fable Anniversary all over again.

When you are putting a well liked game on a newer engine it loses some of its identity.

Some are going to like the look of the original and thats just how its gonna be.

Maybe they should have just done resolution bump and framerate bump and called it a day like god of war 3 and last of us remasters and charged like 20 dollars.

The Xbone has backwards compatibility but it's up the publisher what they make available and because people have so happily bought all the barely remastered remasters over the past few years why wouldn't publishers just release the games with that slight bump in graphics when they know people will pay for it?

PC wins. It has the versions that run as good as the remasters but look properly.

Not interested. Cash grab if you ask me. If Arkham Asylum was a remake that used the updated abilities of the later Batman games, and had a vastly toned down 'detective mode' so you actually had to work stuff out for your self. I might be interested.

And if they threw in a remastered Arkham Origins, because I loved that game.

Kind of, it's not 100% backwards compatibility because it's emulated and every game has to be recompiled by Microsoft so you can't just run from disc. If it was true backwards compatibility then you would not need to ask for permission to allow it.

Definitely some differences, though I'll have to take everyone's word for it... I own the games on steam and last gen. No new buy for me. Shit. I haven't even hyped myself up to play AK as of yet... So I'll be playing that when it gets down to a few bucks before any replays.

Looks like they have switched to "actual" hair for HS on Ps4, but with zero artistic sensibility. Perhaps there were only tech people doing the port without an art director supervising making sure the vision was intact?

This whole series is made to milk casuals that are into Batman. I look at these games and it reminds me of Activision so fking much.

@mr_huggles_dog: For the most part, it looks a crap load better than last gen which is all I care about. Last Gen games' cutscenes weren't even real time most of the time and the old Batman games used them throughout all games. Maybe these are real time now. Even if they're not, it looks much better than a few slight enhancements.

@killered3: it seems to be what sush said. They made technical improvements but didn't consider the artistic style behind it.

Artistically speaking, Halo CE Anniversary looked better as an improvement than this. Now that was more than a leap. This is more of a few bumps.

Personally, after playing Arkham knight, i really couldn't go back and play the other Arkham games, going back to smaller maps and no batmobile is like a huge step backwards.

Love these games but I don't spend my money on remasters.

Well, the beard is pretty awful, no doubt, looks like someone glued pubic hair all over his face. That other shot of saying Batman looks like he wants to take a massive shit... that's like every shot of Batman ever. So, is that it?

Anyhow, like he says, it'll probably be spotty; improvements here, regressions there. I'll probably get it, eventually, not at $60 originally but maybe after a price drop to $40 or less.

It's missing the best game in the Series, Arkham Origins.

Wouldn't mind a Mass Effect Trilogy remaster, Still haven't played the first.

MS has surprised us the past 2 E3's with a great compilation.... maybe.....
