i dont own a xbox 360 but. i said i would go out and buy one if it comes in black because i know companys are just riden on the trend coat tails that of apple. plus almost every entertainment device i own is black and i want to keep it that way.

so i guess im getting a 360

If you are going to truly get one, I would wait until the fall when the new 65nm chips are in production for the system.

I don't need 120gb of space, i want a 360 premium for $300. Even though i have an HDTV, component is good enough.X360PS3AMD05

That is probably what is going to happen. Either they keep the core and drop it $100 as well or they just get rid of the core all together and the premium becomes the new core at $300. I expect this new XBOX to be cheaper than $480 though, unless they are including the tax with that number?

I would think so. Basically if this article is true and they will start selling these things in early spring, but those will still have the old chips in them. Basically the only new things would be a better/quieter DVD player, bigger HDD (120GB) and HDMI, plus a HDMI cord.

Might as well wait a few more months and get the entire upgrade, with all of that stuff mentioned above, plus the new 65nm chip. On top of that, you never know when a price drop might happen or bundles.

So there is all this hype for the next gen console from Microsoft, The X-Box 360 yay! So we buy this awsome console....... One year later, guess what? OMG a all new and better X-Box 360 is coming out, and the live sevice is being geared to run better with the New Xbox 360 Huh. So if we wan't to take full advatage of what Microsoft is trying offering us we will have to buy the new console. YAY?

I don't think so, this is such a douchebag move by Microsoft. So what in a year after this new launch, what we will have to buy a all new console again, just a little bit better? And So on and so on. Let the ultimate milkage from MIcrosoft begin! I feel sorry for are kids.
