What are your sources? IGN, Gamespot and even Blizzard's own advertisement for it show it as only available for PC, Mac, PS3 and PS4.
Nothing of the next Xbox is announced yet, it could very easily be part of their reveal aswell.I've seen the screenshots of D3 on PS3. They look hideous.[QUOTE="funsohng"][QUOTE="Cheleman"]
Diablo's a graphically demanding game, Neither the WiiU or Xbox are capable of displaying such visuals atm. Give Blizzard a year or 2 after they release it on the PS4, and they'll figure out a way to make it work on those consoles. They're extremely talented devs.

I have two copies of that game as I have a LAN network at home, at ultra max settings that game doesn't even look that good on PC.
I would never use a Blizzard game to showcase any of my new GPUs from Nvidia or AMD (I support both). Blizzard have nice art styIes, they are competent, and the particle effects are nice, but it's a meh looking game in comparison to other games.
It's an isometric dungeon crawler...there isn't much to the graphics.
isometric dungeon crawlers don't get to be good looking? That's fvcking bull.[QUOTE="SolidTy"][QUOTE="funsohng"] I've seen the screenshots of D3 on PS3. They look hideous.funsohng

isometric dungeon crawlers don't get to be good looking? That's fvcking bull.I didn't say that, that's fVcking bull. Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2 just simply aren't great technical looking games. Artistically they are fine, but they aren't graphic showcasers. They get the job done.
Isometric dungeon crawlers do get to be good looking if that was the intent of the devs/pubs, but devs hold back to bring in as many gamers as possible because the genre is an isometric dungeon crawler. The best we can do is take a game that was designed for average PC like Diablo 3 and crank the settings to ultra. Even on the highest settings Diablo 3 (Ultra) just doesn't cut the mustard and is not a graphics showcase in comparison to the best looking PC titles. In fact, many gamers spoke to this when Diablo 3 came out, claiming Blizzard held back to make the PS3 version because it was rumored that was being worked on at the time.
I also would never recommend ever using screenshots to judge a game, as it's better in person. I also certainly would never recommend using screenshots as you did to judge an unfinished game.
So, if the unfinished console version of Diablo 3 looks hideous using low res screenshots right now (the game isn't done yet so we'll see how bad the final product turns out), it's not that big of a deal since in this case the PC version wasn't the best looking PC game anyways. I have a feeling though the PS3 version will look like a laptop version with a moderate graphics card. The benefits to the console version is couch co op with friends/GF on one machine and no DRM. To get co op on the game I had to buy two copies of Diablo 3 PC, although I have four PCs LAN.I wanted four copies, but after playing the game, it didn't turn out that wonderful anyways. The irony of the entire situation is Diablo and Diablo 2 were better games. If getting those shiny PC graphics with no DRM and couch co operative modes are a big concern, Blizzard are making a PS4 version as well.
It's NOT. lol. Where have you been? http://www.webpronews.com/diablo-iii-comes-to-xbox-360-and-ps3-on-september-3-2013-06 It's coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 on Sept 3. It will come to the PS4 & XBox One after they launch. Why is it only coming exclusively to Sony consoles?

[QUOTE="lostrib"]I have it on the PC. Runs perfectly fine for me.I'm surprised that many people care. I would imagine most people that wanted to play Diablo 3 would have got it on PC since it does not take a very powerful PC to run it

that was kind of my point
As someone who despised the PC version, I'm curious about the console one, for one reason only: the game will not be built around the AH. Decent drops will no longer be so rare, and the game will need to function as an all-in-one package. Rebalanced. Plus it won't stutter from the server streaming, and hopefully we'll be able to save anywhere on the map, not just have checkpoints. I enjoyed my playtime but couldn't continue because of the above, so with those things absent I believe it's going to be a much better experience.I'm surprised that many people care.
