Since we all know Bioware's new game is Command and Conquer Alliances, or something named similarly. Is it going to be a PC Exclusive seeing as the genre fits the PC?
or EA so dumb that they will attempt once again to put an RTS on consoles?

How do we know it's an RTS? Wouldn't be the first time EA tried to shoehorn C&C into an FPS (Renegade, that other shooter that was cancelled a year or two back).

Renegade was released, the shooter you are referring to is tiberium, and I believe it will probably be something along those lines.

NOOOOOOOOOOO.....=(RTS games really aren't that big on consoles, and if they did that they'd have to either change a LOT in how the game plays, or make two distinctly different versions (one for PC one for consoles).
I actually have no problem if they go the second route, Dragon Age: Origins was fantastic on PC, and damn good on consoles. The only reason DAII wasn't as great is because they just cut corners and made it the same on each version, which dumbed it all down as a whole.
EA tends to go for the greedy route lately, so it might end up on consoles, and if it does we can just hope they can have each version up to their full potential.
Clarification about the Bioware angle.
tl;dr it's not really Bioware, just an EA studio in charge of C&C that will presumably be rebranded as a Bioware spinoff.
Wait what? Bioware is making a new CC? That does sound like a terrible tasteless joke.

It's probably not "real" BioWare: rumour is EA just renamed Victory Games (the ex-EALA devs who were supposed to take over C&C) BioWare LA (potentially combining them with Visceral as well).
Just so people know:
BioWare Edmonton - Original BioWare (working on Dragon Age 3 and Mass Effect 3)
BioWare Montreal - Worked on DLC for Mass Effect 2 and did a ton of work on Mass Effect 3
BioWare Austin - Working on Star Wars: The Old Republic
BioWare Mythic - Working on Warhammer Online
BioWare Victory? - New BioWare game (probably a new Command and Conquer)
The name Bioware really has no mean anymore. It just a bunch of development studios pumping games after games.Clarification about the Bioware angle.

Yeah, like they said in the article it's basically the same as EA Sports. Only the BioWare label is being stamped on any new studio without regard to the sort of games they make. Just yesterday some random social game dev was renamed Bioware Sacramento.
Bioware making a new C&C game makes sense. I believe EA is attempting to jump into the competitive online makret. Blizzard/Activision have SC2 and WoW. EA wants a piece of this market and will attempt to do it with one of the most popular developers.
The name Bioware really has no mean anymore. It just a bunch of development studios pumping games after games. I think if we were just talking about dragon age and mass effect it would still be in line with their goal of creating "the best story driven games" or something like that.[QUOTE="Cherokee_Jack"]

EA must have a goal of ruining and watering down the name of one of the best RPG makers in the biz, then mission accomplished.
Jeez, are they so unoriginal they couldn't even think of a new name for a freaking socual game studio?
I think the controller limitations will keep C&C exclusive. I can imagine a successful (but slow) RTS on the Wii U though.

If so it will be interesting to see how it will compare to fan-made Renegade X.Anyway, CnC RTSes sold like crap on consoles, so I could see small chance of it being PC-exclusive. THat is if it was RTS, which I doubt it will. I'm betting on FPS with RPG elements, in which case it's guaranteed multiplat.
It doesn't matter if the new Command & Conquer is a PC exclusive or a multiplatform title, nor if it's a strategy or a role playing game. The legendary Jon Van Caneghem is responsable for the new chapter of the franchise. It'll be great one way or another. :D
Well, technically, Bioware Edmonton is split up into another two studios, one who did KoTOR and the Mass Effect series, the other who did NWN, Jade Empire and the Dragon Age series as well.Just so people know:
