Single player, because I like to follow the character, along with the twists and turns of the story.

I like a balance of both. I get tired of one or the other if a game is focused too much on just one.

I prefer single player and/or coop. I enjoy multiplayer as well but I'd rather play by myself or with friends then against cocky 12 year olds(no offense to the normal 12 year olds).

Single player. I see multiplayer as something that comes second.

I've never bought a game with SP and MP just to play multiplayer, although I have bought a game with MP and SP just to play single player. So I guess single player. Games that only rely on multiplayer feel like half a game to me.

That question is basically the same as asking:

Which do you like more: Food, or drink?

Singleplayer then Co-op, multiplayer a distant third.

Single Player. Even with multiplayer games, I always beat the single player first. I just enjoy it more, I guess. And it allows me to immerse myself as slowly or quickly as I wish. And, I just like it better.

I actually think that's why I don't play MMOs. Because they don't have a single player option. It really turns me off, instantly.

depends on how much time i have. I usually like single player when i have time for a good story and characters. that's something that most multiplayer games lack.

Single Player hands down. Multiplayer when really bored.
