Sony owns the Bloodborne IP so just like Demons Souls, it's staying exclusive.

Well, not for me at least. I enjoyed it more than Uncharted. But they are pretty different. Uncharted is 100% linear with no exploration; Tomb Raider has a decent exploration aspect (altough they should have explored it further).

Won't have any effect on me. I already own both consoles. Will it effect me getting a Wii U? Probably not. I don't plan on getting one of those until the end of the year.

I'll pick it up when I eventually get a PS4, but I'm not gonna run out and buy a PS4 just for Bloodborne, though it does look great.

I'd prefer it on PC if I could get it there, but I guess like Demon's Souls that won't be an option.

i personally think Tomb raider, especially the last one, has better gameplay than Uncharted, i hated the Shooting mechanics in Uncharted and i find the platforming in TR to be superior as well, thats just my opinion though.

that's fine. For me, it was a wash in comparing the 2 games' gameplay. For me then I look at the story and MP since those were things both had as well. MP in Uncharted is actually pretty decent and fun just like it is with TLOU. Didn't really like the MP they threw into Tomb Raider. Story isn't exactly great for either game, but I preferred the light-hearted adventures of Uncharted to the gloomy depressing TR reboot. It's like someone saw all the damage Drake took in Uncharted 2 and 3 and said "yeah let's make our game have a SHIT ton of that with even more gore and make the entire thing feel darker as well".

They are video games, not movies so I only judge them by things unique only to gaming. Thats what every other medium has done. Just look at The Walking Dead, the Narrative in the Comic Books is very different from the ones in the TV Show, which is also very different from The Narrative in Tell Tales' The Walking Dead. They play to the Medium's Strengths. It could have very easily been an FPS with cutscenes and that would render the story pointless in this medium, kinda like Uncharted and Tomb Raider were.

Hmm Uncharted 2 one of greatest game ever, and 3 still AAA. I play both. I have high expectation for tomb raideer and expecting actual exploration like PS1 title. Actual they have hub world which good but nothing compare to say, hub world of metroid prime. The shooting is not tight and responsive and lacking "punch", character movement is not smooth and natural, interacting with environment also not as polish.

Also funny that gamer complain of QTE in Uncharted, but Tomb Raider is much more intrusive, when she light fire to see, squeeze through crack in rock, murder simulator in river. So many annoying moment to interrupt flow of gameplay.

Compare the online of both series, and uncharted destroy tomb raider in gameplay and design. Proving tomb raider to be pretender with more work to catch up. Like comparing russian ballet to ghetto twerking.

That goes Double for Uncharted 2 and Triple For Uncharted. I'l admit Many of Lara's Animations Suck but they are Reliable and Consistent, Nathan on the Hand doe nots Jump, Melee, latch on to Ledges consistently and I'l often find myself Bouncing off Certain edges that how was suppose to latch on to, or worse, his leap falls short. and If if you want to see a lack of "punch" then I'l refer you to Uncharted's Redundant Weapons coupled with The Damage Sponge Enemies. I know nothing about Tomb Radier's Online but the only thing I can Say about Uncharted is its better than COD its the highest compliment I can give it.

I don't like the Souls games, so, no, this has not compelled me in any way to get a PS4.

I am buying a PS4 but that is because I flipped a coin and it landed on PS4. The exclusives are so minor in the overall picture really that there is no point using them in the choice. I mean how many exclusives for each console come out each year? One? Two? Three? Not sure but it isn't that many when the console generation gets going full swing and that isn't good enough to sway my decision. Halo 5 and Gears of War might be bad for example, Bloodborne might have killed itself using the health regeneration idea.

Either way I think a game that is the spiritual successor to Demon and Dark Souls should be experienced by as many gamers as physically possible. Dark Souls being on Xbox 360 was the only reason I even played the first Dark Souls. Without it being multiplatform I wouldn't have played any of the games in the series. Fortunately I did play it and Dark Souls I and II are easily two of my all time favourite games.

Tying up Bloodborne on PS4 is a negative thing for the games industry.

Everything you complain about tomb raider can be applied to uncharted as well, uncharted improved on the original tomb raider formula and tomb raider reboot improved the uncharted formula, as for the online i don't know since i don't like the mp of either game but given your status as delusional fanboy i'm willing to bet they are pretty much the same.

Now for the first time both uncharted and tomb raider will release around the same time frame, i'm willing to bet uncharted 4 will be better since is not being held back by last gen consoles and naughty dog is the better studio but both will be great.

As for the original point tomb raider reboot > uncharted, specially in gameplay.

See, that's a lot different. If you own consoles to play console exclusives or to play with your friends that's one thing. It's an entirely different matter when the console peasants start claiming nonsense like 30fps is better than 60fps, the eye can't see more than 30fps, 720p is the same as 1080p, that PC gaming is "too expensive", that they don't like PC because they play games from the couch, and all the other ridiculous arguments we see all the time. When people start getting into the "Consoles are better than PC because reasons" crap, that's when things start to become absurd.

Demon Souls didn't make me buy a ps3, this new "souls" game aint gonna make me buy a ps4
