I've been bummed about the lack of Silent Hill future prospects for a while. There's no shortage of awful fan projects (mostly Flash/browser visual novel games) but I played an hour of this one last night:

I'm not sure if the developer's native language is English because there are a few weird language errors here and there but overall there's a lot of good stuff here. It rips off from Silent Hill pretty heavily, but considering that Konami isn't making an more I really don't mind how liberally it "borrows" from that pool. Anyone else tried it?
That said, it's an indie game so temper your overall expectations if you haven't played it. The graphics and character models aren't necessarily going to be top notch but there's a decent amount of polish.
This is one of the reasons why I like PC gaming in general, because that barrier to entry is always going to be lower than console counterparts which means games that otherwise may not ever get to exist can be created.
