@Phreek300: Same. I'm hoping our save data will carry over to Shenmue III. I and II had it, and this was always supposed to be an integral feature for the whole series.

Me too. I'd love it, too if I can put in my old cartridges. I'd hate to open up my old genesis and replace the leaking capacitors when that time comes.

@ni6htmare01: It's a remaster. They'll also have the option for dual audio and a modern control configuration.

Shenmue 2 is awesome game. I have the Xbox version, and it runs on 360. The game has not aged a bit.

Always wanted to play these. I love the Yakuza series so I figure I'll probably enjoy them. Day 1.

Would love a remake of 1 I remember how revelotionary it was on Dreamcast. Still excited to see how 3 turns out.

Would be great for Sega to make another home console. Like Nintendo they are innovative. Microsoft and Sony are too alike.

I cant help but still want to play Shenmue 1 on my Dreamcast and 2 on Xbox. Improving the controls will make a big difference but I'm an old guy. I don't watch March of the Wooden Soldiers colorized. I like the originally black & white

I would be down for a remaster of 1 it was ahead of it time.

I hope theyve made them so that the saves/moves list can continue over to Shenmue 3.

Couldn't care less to be honest, Persona 5 for PC would have been a much more pleasant announcement, over 2 ancient games that you can already play via emulator...

1 and 2 ports are day one for me can't wait.

Best news ever, i always said it would happen, still better than Yakuza. Also probably means Shenmue 3 will come to Xbox eventually, but probably depends on lems actually buying this first.

If 3 sells well on PS4 I'm pretty sure it will come to Xbox eventually. I'm hoping the 1 and 2 ports sell well on both consoles.

Shenmue is one of my favourite games of all time, so I will happily be picking this up.

I've never tried either of them, but will give them a shot on PC.

Is great that I can get Shenmue 1 to 3 in 1 system, but might be hard to get the save work in Shenmue 3 because 3 is not developing by Sega and pretty much has nothing to do with Sega rather than Yu Suzuki’s only crew. We’ll see if he can make some arrangement with Sega to make it work.

I will be buying the Shenmue HD Collection on PS4 day one.

The Genesis mini is cool but mine still works and I just bought a Raspberry Pi that looks like an SNES for everything else.

Interested to see what games it'll have.

Imo these mini consoles are a good trend.

Also a new Sakura Wars announced. And with Sega so quick to localize Valkyria Chronicles 4 and Shining Resonance remaster I think there is more of a chance of it coming over this time despite most of the series staying in Japan besides 5(and Sega didn't localized it themselves, NISA did).

I wish sega would release and design a mega drive mini. The 3rd party ones all feel really cheap.
