Sekiro looks like the best third person action this gen.

I actually agree with you here. I have been quietly enjoying previews all over the place. I just love how the studio approach these games man. These guys have found a modern yet classic formula in action games. I love what I'm hearing what they are doing about death in relation to gameplay mechanics and story. Poor Kojima by the time his game comes out whatever supposedly death elements he is working on may be old.

I have been looking forward to this more then DMC5 so its very rewarding right now.

I'm not into Souls games but I will give this a try.

I find missing limbs uncomfortable, and now 2 games I originally wanted to play real badly are having a 'one arm missing' mechanic :(

It looks like the EXACT same game that's been done 4(?) times already but with a different art style.

It looks similar to Dark Souls, being a 3rd person action game from the same devs, but it has skilltrees, different death system, no character creation, different combat system, stealth mechanics, new traversing methods, different kind of level design. Quite a few things that differ from their Souls series.

I can imagine it looking like just another Souls game for those who haven't really looked at it though.

looks good, but im not hyping it, I already played nioh, which was basically a ninja souls game, also the samurai dude on the horse boss fight reminds me of the boss fight in ninja gaiden. Not that thats a bad thing, just saying. It looks good, just nothing new

DMC 5... I will play it... It just creeps me out. But I'll still play them. It's just... tougher to want to play them.

It's one of those irrational fears. Like large objects underwater. Looking straight up at a high building. That kind of thing. I tend to be scared of manmade things underwater. Big underwater balloons, propellers, machinery, metal grating, stuff like that. But I still played Subnautica and I loved it. It's just that I hope it won't become a trend XD

BOY you need to enjoy games more then just the fighting part. And no I don't mean "ma cut scenes story narrative". We know this game is not about that. It tells story differently. It will have fantastic lore. You need to enjoy the design the meaning of the design through exploration. Otherwise they should just make fighting games fore you to just get the combat part. Nioh may have the combat but this is modern day 3d metroidvaniaesq mastery of game design. This is the game you will play over and over again untill you master it. You master it because you have explored its design. Not only that, it seems to have a purpose for you to try and not die so much. You will try different runs for that challenge. Nioh is nothing compare to this shit. Ninja Gaiden the f*** lol should have drawn more from its classic self. Agh kids these days I swear, kidding.

its a third person action adventure game. from software has stated that its not RPG.

and im glad we are not playing as create a mute unnamed character instead we actually play as actual character.

I just tried to find some sort of official screenshot thread here in this area, but no joy.

Now, given how people like taking and sharing screenshots, I'd say it's high time someone higher up on these forums (mods?) set up an official thread just for screenshots.

That way, whenever we see something fun or spectacular in a game, we could post pics of it all here on the official screenshots thread.

It's a straight up gamer's game. Badass gameplay mechanics and brutal difficulty. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

I won't mind taking a crack at it, I'll have to play on the easiest difficulty option, cause I know if I go the hard route I'll just get stuck and never finish.

First time I see Ghosts looking forward to a non shooter myself. I did not think this day would come.

I still have my doubts its going to top Bloodborne, my second favorite game ever and, in my opinion, FromSoft's best. But I am anticipating it and hope it does well.

You're going to say it's terrible on a mouse and keyboard and will refuse to play it with a controller. You'll complain that the combat is clunky. Other reasons that I can't think of.

Dark souls was one of the worst console worst ever. it feel like i was playing emulated console game on PC because it show xbox button prompt instead of PC. and then i quickly uninstalled it. it was lazy port.

heres hoping Sekiro is not. especially if activision is publisher which many hate but under them we would get better PC port that can control properly by KB/M.

I can assure you that the mouse and keyboard controls won't satisfy you, which will make the game shit.
