As SEGA stated when an investor asked about the possibility of selling newly released games on Steam.

“We remastered Persona 4 the Golden, a title previously sold on the PlayStation Vita, and released it for sale on Steam this fiscal year. Because of the game’s critical acclaim and its low selling price, sales were much stronger than expected. We will continue to actively promote porting previously released titles to Steam and new platforms. We are also negotiating with platform holders for new games in the future, and we’re considering ways to sell under favorable conditions for each title. Among them are measures such as preparing PC versions of the titles from the beginning, with multi-platform releases in mind.”

For what it’s worth, Persona 4 Golden sold over 500K copies on the PC in its first month. Additionally, both Atlus and SEGA were pleased with the game’s sales on the PC.

It will be interesting to see now whether Persona 5 will also find its way on Steam. Persona 5 came out on PS3 and PS4 in 2017. Thus, and after the success of Persona 4, a PC port sounds plausible. Moreover, we are curious to see whether the future Persona games will release on the PC alongside their console version.

I've been telling them this for YEARS. They are sitting on a gold mine. Just release some of your old arcade saturn and dreamcast games. Maybe a new master system compilation too.

Yes, I want P5 on PC and P3 as a matter of fact, but there is so much more they could be doing right now.

I'd like to see more reboots of their classic franchises. Comix Zone would be awesome done by the same group and art style as Streets of Rage 4.

@Telekill: They have a few obscure IP's as well.

Like, a lot of people don't know prior to Bloodlines, had it's own Castevania clone for the Master System but it was never released outside of Europe and Japan.

I wouldn't mind a Binary Domain re-release.
