seems 2013 belongs to PS 3

Is it just me or do Ps3 lists look the same every year>.> ?

Well I doubt Wii U throws Ps3 under the bus, the E3 announcements should be huge, were going to see SSB 4. Which if you recall was the most hyped game ever, like ever ever.

On top of that there are going to be 3ds an more Wii U up an comers that will also have massive hype trains. If you have a bad launch, you gotta have a stellar E3, and well I think Nintendo will have to compete with console announcements from Microsoft an Sony, it really won't be to hard to do, after they both show their prerenderd CG videos.

That FF15 video, srsly are you that blind to think thats going to be real, its FF7 tech demo all over again.

Yea it looks to be a solid year for the console considering its getting on in years.

But PC has some amazing strategy games coming out - Rome 2, Company of Heroes 2 most importantly, which some people will discountbecause they are strategy games,even though they will probably be bigger and deeper than anything coming out on the PS3.

Fortunately I have a gaming PC and a PS3 so I get the best of both worlds.

I'm just stating a fact. The PC has more exclusives announced for 2013 than the PS3 and 360 combined. The PC has more high scoring exclusives than the PS3 and 360 this gen (combined as well, I think).

Call it hiding behind the PC if you want. I own a pretty damn powerful gaming rig that sees the majority of my gaming time (yes, even over the 360) so this benefits me. :)

The Last Guardian? Lucky if you see that on the PS5, as for Agent, R* is releasing GTA5 so that's not happening. The rest though, awesome.

It is a good year for everyone really, even if you don't have a PS3 you are still getting great mulitplats. Though that being said, I don't see how anyone could honestly say they want to pass up on The Last of Us, I just don't. That game looks so good, it's going to be day 1 for me and probably will win a bunch of awards including GOTY possibly.

I think it's time for people that don't have a PS3 to buy a PS3. Even if you don't buy multiplats for it, there are still more than enough great exclusivces to justify the purchase. The Last of Us will be a game that everyone needs to play, end of story.

But really who doesn't want that game? I'm very impressed with what they have been doing with it, btw have you watched any of the dev diaries about the game? They are really good, especially the storyline and world videos, it's really great. Naughty Dog is making one hell of a game.

The only real interesting exclusive the PS3 has coming up is TLoU and I will easily take Gears Judgement+ my superior multi-plats over that any day.

I still see TLoU having flop potential as well, and in general Sony has been all about teh flop lately.

Hopefully the PS4 will be able to redeem Sony. I still miss the epic days of the PS1 and PS2....

Please explain what the requirements are for a game to "truly matter"? Especially when none of them have released and you can't even use critical or commercial performance to measure them.

Ya but you should also watch the dev diaries, they explain the world and all the concepts. It's very interesting, the storyline is so good and they are going for an emotional experience.

That's why 2012 was supposedly a big "win" for 360 fans...the now annual regurgitation of Halo and Forza.

We all agree that MS lacks core first party devs (they just founded Black Tusk, though), but the reason why 2012 was, once again, a good year for 360 is not because it got a new Halo and a new Forza game. It's because it keeps getting games from most devs. The Witcher 2, Trials Evo, Mark of Ninja, Fez, Minecraft, Alan Wake AN, Spelunky, etc...
