It has Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, not some in-house sound engine aimed at headphones, which are just not as effective at directional audio and low frequencies.

Playstation:

+ I like how the main menu is now completely presented in HDR

- Console itself looks hideous

Nintendo

+ Nintendo games are great

- Nintendo doesn't make any games

Microsoft

+ They delayed Halo Infinite

- They still plan on releasing Halo Infinite some day

My XB1 looks like a VCR from the 1980's its kinda cool

X-Series X looks like a trash bin

PS5 is gigantic and heavy

I would say Gamepass but the same as PS Now but w/ a different take.

They fit well under the TV in your living room I guess.

I like their (MS) console design and the only reason I've lost interest for now is they don't have games that interest me. Will play MS games on PC in the future and continue to subscribe to GP.

Halo CE multiplayer (of xbox, not mcc) is still one of the best things I've ever played.

I don't like any of them as I would prefer to play everything on PC. However, the BC and enhanced versions of games with higher frame rates is nice. Also, I like that they now have SSDs and the CPUs are no longer shit tier.

I also love Nintendo, and before Sony started censoring dev content I loved them too.

Of course I didn't. I gave them hell over Scalebound, and they deserved it. I wish cows would hold Sony accountable for the censorship issue instead of pretending what they're doing is correct.

OG Xbox was one of my most-used consoles of all time. I had a modded Xbox, which I used like a PC for my large TV (PC monitors were smaller back then). Not just to play Xbox games, but also to watch video content and run emulators. Xbox was ahead of its time... or at least the Xbox modding community was ahead of its time.

@briguyb13: Did you give Platinum hell also over Scalebound, or are you one of those who believe Platinum are angels and didn't do anything wrong, and it was all MS fault?

I think all platforms are good.

PC: more variety and mods. People claim to hate anime sex games, and ngl they make me cringe as well. However, I do like that there is an option for people who enjoy those games.

Sony: I do like some of their first person exclusives and how they get good JRPGs.

Microsoft: their online infrastructure is just excellent and I love how their open to putting games on other platforms.

Nintendo: I mean, their exclusives are literally my favorite games.

Xbox Series X - Backwards compatibility console king

The PC is the overall backwards compatibility king, but that takes being more powerful since the games aren't optimized for it, so the Xbox series X gives up it's having the most powerful console crown to the PS5 since games are coded to the metal for the PS5 and not the Xbox series x.

They both really 1440p @ 60 fps consoles which is still great, for 4k @ 60 fps is still not mainstream on PC, but consoles are mainstream devices. Microsoft being greedy at the expense of consumers. Microsoft bottle necked their next console to insure that game disc from all previous Xbox generations would work onto the upcoming generation consoles and cross generation games being developed will results in a product that doesn't take advantage of the new hardware.

Also, I think Sony will eventually drop cross generation support for both PS4 consoles, but I believe both Xbox series consoles will continue to be hold back by the Xbox One consoles for the benefit of Microsoft shareholders.
