I just heard that Sam Fisher took lessons in Spanish in Westmount. It looks like they're getting ready for its next mission in M * X * CO.

There has not been good splinter cell since chaos theory so im interested to see what they are doing next.

Will be open world, with assassin's creed towers.

Lets hope its true and its some sort of timed exclusive so we can see cows lose their shit and then proclaim that Splinter Cell sucks LOL.

I hope it won't turn into a MGS V clone.(A dead open world that made free roam too awful and only few missions used that well)

I really want another Splinter Cell Conviction alike cause that game felt like I was playing Bourne game lol. But nevertheless, I just want a new Splinter Cell game cause it's been far too long for a new one.

Now that I think about it, I really wish Ubisoft would do a remastered collection, I'll gladly pay for a Splinter Cell Collection.

Been thinking about where this was after the voice actor was on inside Xbox months ago.

If announced at XO18, I certainly would put a vegas bet that it has timed exclusivity...I've always saw it as a Xbox franchise launching on first Xbox which is when I played it.

Next to Skate 4, this is my top most anticipated game, so its hype either way...if exclusive to Xbox, then maybe cows will finally be put out to pasture, and leave their milking station where PS4 wrangles their utters all day.

Lol @ lemmings wishing this is timed exclusive just to alleviate a bit of their chronic butthurt. It is sad when all lemmings have left is wish for timed exclusivity because MS has duped them into a gen of nothing but mediocrity and low standards. At least last gen lemmings had some dignity left... oh well...

cows actually have high quality exclusives so timed exclusivity is sort of extra ownage but really nothing big. Lemmings is basically all they have left since practically no third party dev in their right mind will do a exclusive deal with MS now. PS4 keeps getting several games from third parties that miss the Xbox each month while MS barely gets one every two years or so.

I personally don't care about timed exclusivity, it's a lame business move but a business move anyways. I certainly don't use it as a sort of ownage, real exclusives, on the other hand, add actually some real value to the console.

Very disappointing it's not a fully collection. Though I rarely buy last-gen games on consoles theses days, if I see PS3 version down the road, I'll pick it up if I can.

More Splinter cell is a good thing. I've loved the series up to this point, though double agent was kinda meh.... Still I give it a pass because it was a transitional generation game. I even loved conviction!

double agent was downfall of franchise. then conviction further and blacklist become worst in series. even worst they changed sam fishers voice actor.

chaos theory was masterpiece. they need to return back to roots.

@ghosts4ever: I agree, SC, Pandoras Tomorrow and Chaos Theory are the soul of Splinter cell... Those are the games I want to play when I buy a new SC game....

They felt like a fully fleshed out stealth game where interactions and scenarios were purposeful and planned out. That's what I want.... The CHOICE was always left to me as to how to approach the gameplay, but the maps were designed with intent.

i was going to say to you "Why not buy all three games on steam/Uplay?" but then i noticed splinter cell: pandora tomorrow isnt on either platform..

did you ever play the PS2/Xbox version of Double Agent? It was a completely different game from the one on 360/PC/PS3, and a lot more in line with Chaos Theory.

I played both versions (PS2 version first then on PC later) and the PS2 version was definitely a better game. really strange situation and I bet a lot of people never played the 'best' version of double agent

I think most people are probably expecting some shitty open-world game with grind walls, towers, overly bombastic plot, pointless online connectivity etc...

It's amazing they haven't done it, honestly.

Death Stranding is PS4 exclusive just like MGS4. They might make it Xbox "Console Exclusive" like Splinter Cell Conviction as a response.

Its by far worst in series.

invisible walls, worst level design in SC game, forced FPS section, sam fisher is not sam fisher anymore, mass effect like mission briefing. its disgusting game.

Chaos Theory was masterpiece. so even if it turn into open world. it wont be as bad as blacklist.

although it should be linear game with sandbox design. one big open world will ruined it like it ruined MGS5. open world and stealth doesnot work.

I remember that was a complain that Jade Reymond used when producing Splinter Cell Blacklist that "SC games were too hard which is why they were not successful."

Funny that she hasn't even managed to make any good Star Wars game for EA.
