Understandable. How do you outdo an already amazing game (formerly amazing)? You make it in space. It's flawless logic.

He's talking about wow. Im a hardcore fan if Bungie, but if their next game is an mmo, consider me out of the loop on this one. Mmo's are for the unproductive in life[QUOTE="Twin-Blade"]

I think you mean WoW. I didn't think of that...
...Don't argue with the logic!

Make sure to add space zombies and/or pirates and you've also got a winner.

Destiny: A MMO based on space zombies/pirates also based, in space.
Headlines: "WoW loses 11 million subscribers."
Could be interesting. I've always wondered how much Bungie could accomplish if they developed a multiplayer-only game. Subscription? Call of Duty MMO + Bungie FPS MMO may reap big rewards for Activision.
If they add prone, ADS, and RPG elements then I'm down.

Bungie are a fan of their sci-fi. I think Myth is the only successful fantasy game they've made.... But if it ends up as WoW in space it looks like my life will be devoid of Bungie games for the next decade. :P
I've read it's an MMO FPS. There were leaked screenshots.. And what was shown was an FPS. I'm not saying those screenshots are REAL.. but they definitely fit Bungie's art style.[QUOTE="mitu123"]
At least it's not a shooter, though they have made Myth.

If they make a MMO. I'm not playing it. MMO's are a genre I just will not got into. What a buzzkill. jg4xchampYou said it. A game completely based on multiplayer is a no go for me. And knowing Activision, they will make it a monthly subscription. Bungie may still be independent but Activision have their claws deep in their backs.

Bungie is in control of everything else, including the pricing of their products. Activision can't make them do squat. Hell, Bungie is even free to have other publishers publish their games so long as it' not a part of the game series in their contract.

He's talking about wow. Im a hardcore fan if Bungie, but if their next game is an mmo, consider me out of the loop on this one. Mmo's are for the unproductive in life you don't have to put in countless hours. WoW can be enjoyed quite casually without committing to nightly raids or whatever.Years of quality out of their doors yet nobody can afford Bungie a little faith? Im confident whatever they come up with is going to be quality.
As for the "mmo's are for people with no life" a lot of people (including some of you) waste more time on multiplayer shooters than the average mmo gamer, come down of your horses... :|.
I think everyone by now sees the letters MMO and immediatly thinks of the endless MMORPG's, grinding, tank/healer/dps etc. According to the rumour it would be an MMOFPS, which would be something entirely different. It probably won't even involve grinding, because bungie have the reputation of making games that stay fun even if you play them years on end.
Also, just a thought - what if they add a superchared forge system? Basically letting the players shape the world around them. I think it could be awesome.
