Saw the other thread and thought it deserved more speculation.
Gimme Xenosaga Trilogy!

^ I hope its not Xenoblade Chronicles...oh here's a remastered version...but we also have to tell you that...Xenoblade Chronicles X will now be release in 2016. Please understand. :P
A reminder: This is the same leaker who noted Nintendo's involvement with Devil's Third and their announcement with Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. Take that what you will.
If this is true, though, I hope it is not one game being sold for full price, that shit always annoys me. Say, a $60 Super Mario Galaxy pack? I'm game. Metroid Prime Trilogy? Hell yeah. Twilight Princess+Skyward Sword (so effectively just Twilight Princess)? Sure, $60 is fine.
But selling, say, just Xenoblade Chronicles remastered in HD for $60 is a pretty shitty move, no matter how good the remaster is. Though it would still be cheaper than trying to buy one right now...

I really hope it's not a game/collection that recent. Games from the N64/PS/Saturn gen deserve some treatment.
I'm sorry but Wii games look like shit. If any games need a remastered version it's Wii games. I'd buy a version of The Last Story, Xenoblade Chronicles, Sin & Punishment, etc. that doesn't give me eye cancer in a second.
Metroid Prime Trilogy. That or maybe something sweet like a Pikmin Trilogy, I'd buy a steel box of that instantly. But they did say a "Big" game, so I'll stick with the Prime trilogy prediction.
@yokofox33: it's unfortunate people were more excited about a sequel to eternal darkness and it failed meet funding.

Most realistic answer.
As for the trilogy? It'd be nice but according to the title it says "game".
-I don't think it will be Twilight Princess. Too much work involved to bring that up to par. I don't think it is ugly but in order to do an hd remaster nearly every texture would need to be redone.
Now I'm seeing it says "big game every month" if the rumor is true. Perhaps this is an introduction to N64 to the eshop? Mario 64? There were rumors a while back, or comments by myamoto regarding that game, no? That would be a sweet deal. It'd be nice if nintendo started backwards from the N64 all the way to the Wii. ....could be Mario Galaxies HD?
What do I think it possibly may be? Don't think this is too unrealistic either. I think it may be Star Fox HD, maybe including 64 as well. Reason being is that we know Starfox is in the works but it is a ways off and Nintendo would want unknowing nintendo fans to be aware of the IP.
Oh look, more rumors! Pass the salt, please.
Xenoblade Chronicles
HD with a bit of AA does wonders for Xenoblade. I've played it on Dolphin and it looks damn good. Nintendo needs to release a spruced up version on the eShop, because the Wii version doesn't do the art justice.
Oh look, more rumors! Pass the salt, please.
This rumor actually holds some credibility since it comes from the same guy that leaked about Devil's Turd and the Pokemon remakes.

And a broken clock is right twice a day.
I'll believe it when I see it.
Majora's Mask HD remaster etc.
That will probably be a 3DS game.
If we're talking Wii-U, I'm sensing a Mario Galaxy 1 & 2 remake/remaster.

They already did the Metroid Trilogy guys. Sorry to disappoint you gentlemen.
I'd like to see Wii Fit fully remastered in 1080p. Please be hyped.
edit: also i can't forget the game that made me laugh so much here on sw back when it was released. Please remaster Cooking Mama! WiiU owners need to play this Wii classic.

What, with Denis Dyack in charge of that funding? It was a godsend that never got funded.
1. Xenoblade Chronicles.
2. Zelda: Twilight Princess.
3. Xenosaga Collection.
4. THE LAST STORY.
5. Metroid Prime Trilogy.
6. Super Mario Galaxy Collection (or Super Mario Sunshine).

lol might be worth releasing Xenoblade Chronicles HD just to make it available (and give it better graphics). Cost me like $70 to get a new copy and I think they've gotten more expensive since

that was a really nasty job though. They cropped the field of view, added tacked control set up and that was it. The game looks worse than the original because is still using the same old res but everything is closer to the screen, so you notice the blur and lack of detail even more.
Do NOT tease me with a Xenosaga trilogy.
That sounds about half as good as a Xenogears or Chrono Cross remake and it might just force me to buy a WiiU.

Not in 720p or 1080p they haven't :P
I really hope is Majora's Mask...but let's be honest, it won't be.
My bet is on Super Mario Galaxy, not the biggest deal, but not that bad either.
A lot of people will be satisfied if they announced it was Majora's Mask, they should include Ocarina of Time while they're at it, after all they had that combo pack for the GameCube.
Prime Trilogy would be cool too, it was only on the Wii for such a brief time and I didn't bother getting a copy as I had the GameCube games and the Wii version of Corruption, but I regret not getting it. I'd also be open to them remaking the classic 2D Metroid games to an enhanced and uniform standard for all games. I've replayed the first Metroid game quite a bit over the years, and just this last week finally finished Super Metroid and also played though Metroid Fusion for the first time. If they don't do that though then for the love of god at least put Metroid: Zero Mission from the GBA up on the Wii U eShop.
This gen will be remembered as the "gen of remasters", and it sux
Yeah, because a small handful of games out of hundreds equals a majority. It's fine that some of you don't like remasters/remakes. But when you try to make them out to be all there is on offer, you just look silly. It's simply not true.
