German mags give Spore disappointing scores

Gamestar and PC Games are very good magazines, but this seems kinda too harsh.
Then again, I'm kinda glad there are no all rosy scores, like in the case with GTA 4 and MGS 4.
OH MY GOD TWO CRAZY GERMAN MAGAZINES WE'VE NEVER HEARD OF DON'T HAVE THE SAME OPINIONS AS THE GENERAL CONSENSUS!!!! MADNESS!
Seriously people don't over-react whenever a random magazine gives a game a better/worse score than what people expected. It's like Too Human syndrome "OMG guys look this awesome Swedish magazine gave the game a 9, it must rock!!!"

Speak for yourself. Those magazines are actually one of the most quality ones in EU.
[QUOTE="Saturos3091"]Strange. Wasn't expecting that low of a score, especially after the first few AAA's rolled in. Oh well, I probably won't be getting it now anyway, or I'll be waiting until it drops in price.PC360Wii
Because of one review? :S
[QUOTE="PC360Wii"]Not worried, 92 from PC Gamer, and most people seem to love it.

Even though that's a GREAT score, I feel that after all the hype it's been getting, a 92 is mildly disappointing.
I guess that's what I get for having unrealistic expectations.
I knew it would be a great game, but I was also already very well aware that it was geared towards casual players more, I was never expecting it to get anywhere close to 10 for that reason, and graphics :P.
Needless to say, this game will be big either way.

Of course!
I forgot that only American's opinions matter!
How silly of me.

for pc gamer that's pretty good. I think the highest rating they have given is 96% which was for the original halflife.

I'm not American for one thing so don't try to guilt-trip me or something. But seriously people seem to go overboard with these things, I'm not saying that it's because they are German, it's the same as 99% of games, if 1UP give the game a bad score then they have a different opinion, nothing to go mad over, seems like the only reason this ever happens is because those reviews come out early. It's like Lost Winds, if the Gamespot review had been the first review then people would go crazy over it in the Wii forums thinking the game had turned out bad, but it wasn't, it was like the 20th review and it already had a load of other great 8's and 9's which meant people simply saw it as a different, and quite weird opinion.
So don't let the first 2 or 3 reviews of a game get your hopes up or get them down, it's the general overview of reviews that matters in the end, 100 or so opinions is always better than just the 1, like I said, not everyones opinions are the same.
