Rime's Out + Gamespot Review (6/10)

I know we stopped giving a **** the second Sony dropped it, but it is here.

Review

So, it's like Ico, except it didn't score as good. And **** Ico. Anyway, it's made by the people that developed Deadlight, which seems to share this game's negative points, but nonetheless, drug users can rejoice, because this is definitely a pothead exclusive.

Anybody playing this? I almost am.

Looks like a super chill game and I'll definitely get it one day :)

Microsoft ruined its potential like they do all games they acquire. They dropped the game once they ruined it like Scalebound.

I remember how cows were excited about this game when it was announced at E3

Really good review on EG and other sites. So maybe worth not totally dismissing it purely on GS opinion of it.

I have been interested in it since the initial reveal. I will play it at some point. So many games to play.

It became available for X1, what did you expect from Gamespot? They love Japanime, weaboo stuff above all else.

about the game... i like the artstyle and ambience it gives off....i also like puzzle games like zelda...

so yea i'll get it.

GS seems to be the outlier with the lowest score on this one.

I don't know how good or bad Rime is as a game but lol @ those graphics that is some ugly shit going on right there. Another 'a couple of decades backwards is the way forward' game. Indie clowns will pretend to love it, they're dead cool ya know.

I guess team ico proved no one can copy their magic, they nailed it 3 out of 3 times sadly Ueda left them.

So we now know that going from a PS4 exclusive to a multiplat loses 3 points for your game :P

Push Square gave it a better score.

It has a much higher metacritic score than the GS score. I'm actually pretty interested. I'll get it when it's on sale.

Anything Sony gets it's hands on is solid gold to them.

@blueinheaven: Ugly graphics? Sure it's no technical marvel but the art style is fantastic and the game looks great.

• Silversix is officially Banned from GS and I don't know what he did to piss off the Mods.
• lostrib got heavily involve with another social site and just lost interest coming to SW.

I finished it today... and enjoyed it overall. Some annoying things in there but also some cool stuff (the soundtrack is awesome!).

The ending is satisfying.

How long did it take you?

And about score ? Thats the main reason i go with average Metacritic ( previously Gamerankings ) score always. All critics average >>> A single critic. As we speak game stands on a 81 , which if far from Gamespots 6.

and on to this game what a disappointment after being shown at the PS4 reveal. I actually was hyping it, thought it looked awesome. Guess the final product doesn't match the reveal, I'll be passing.
