Looks as gorgeous now as it did the day of reveal. Can't wait to pick this up (may get this on Switch).

Gives me an ICO and Wind Waker (minus the sailing) mix feeling. Should prove interesting. Is this confirmed to have a physical release?
I believe so
I've been craving a 3D platformer- but I think I'll try Yooka Laylee first since that game is from what I would call the king of 3D platformer devs

Oh you know what I mean lol. It's close. Rare did Banjo Kazooie and Tooie, DK64, and Conker. Nintendo did Mario 64, Mario Sunshine, Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, and Mario 3D World. I go back and forth (especially between Banjo and Mario 64)
Is this from the Tequila guys?? I can't remember their name... But good to know this is still being released.
Looks good, I'm curious about how the actual gameplay is though. I'm most likely gonna binge on Switch launch games so I may end up passing this one up, especially since I'll most likely still be playing Persona 5 as well.
What type of game is this exactly.. adventure-puzzle..? It looks too platforming lite to be a 3d platformer, online doesnt reveal much and their website is just a coming soon page..
I played their latest game which was deadlight and even platted it. Great artists they have but it falls apart in every other aspect. It was still a cool take on a zombie apocalypse.
I remember when I was looking forward to this right beside TLG years ago lol. Hope it's good and if you have said it was a Sony Japan game I would have believed you. love the art.

Puzzle platformer

Yup
Here's to hoping it isn't garbage.
Also, it being a multiplatform, made me care less about it. I'm anti-multiplatform. Get that through your heads.
@charizard1605: Yeah, Sony dropped it last year. In fact, there was a few late threads about it and the developmental issues with the developer. ICO inspired and the art is fantastic, but the developer is still untested and young, so they haven't made their masterpiece or close to it yet.
At least it's still getting a release.
Looks like a boring Journey type game....I'll pass.
Journey was/is an awesome game IMO!
I hated it.....I also bought Bound on the PS4, digging the trailers but that turned out to be a bore fest as well. I shall not get screwed again.
Been wanting this game since it was first announced and it looks just as good now as it did then, glad to see the development got sorted out and they were able to bring it to other platforms.
This was suppose to be an XBLA exclusive but it didn't meet Xbox Live standards and policies so Microsoft rejected it. Microsoft could have done what Sony is known for by announcing games so damn early but by that time MS rejected it and Sony approved it. And Sony did the usual to bloat their list of games and announced it during Gamescom 2013. I'm glad it got out of SCE's grip and will finally make a release. Hopefully it turns out ok.
Looks interesting. I'd be willing to try. Though, when it comes to indies, I find price to be my biggest hold-up. Indie devs have been becoming increasingly more bold in outright asking for more money. I use to like first wave of bite-sized indie games we got last gen, and I could usually overlook any potential disappointment by the nominal fees attached to those games, and many were able to deliver a lot of bang for their buck, there was much better risk/reward in that setting. I realize now that some indie devs aren't unjustly asking for more money, many are putting a lot more effort into their work and achieving great results and deserve to place the values on it they do. Though, it seems like too much of a crapshoot these days, it always was with indie games, but with anybody these days able to self publish their games it's harder to discriminate sometimes, and there's some real shit out there trying to share the stage with those more deserving titles, trying to exploit the variances in prices and exploiting the limited coverage. With bigger AAA developed/published games, there's certain expectations for established franchises derived from their previous entries, or the previous works of the developers involved. All I see here is Tequila Works, who I know nothing about other than they worked on Deadlight, which I never did play. Gave it some consideration recently as I saw it the remaster on sale, but passed on it for other deals taking priority. Maybe I'd be willing to give Deadlight a shot now to test the waters with the developers and their abilities, as I can see lot of potential for this game. No rush right now, Rime comes out in May, but I'd like to do it sometime soon.
This has been known for quite some time now. If Sony dropped the game there has to be something wrong with it.

That's my biggest issue so far with indies. I'd buy a lot more if they weren't so expensive. Games like The Witness cost more than actual AAA games like Dying Light wich I think is ridiculous plus they rarely have demos. We are forced go in blind and support these titles and unknown devs.
