12 TFLOPS means nothing when your games look worse than last of us 2 and ghosts of tsushima

The power is there but ur not using it basically.

And 3rd party kinda follows the trends they don't push systems as hard as exclusives do sometimes you get ports sometimes you get the same game on both consoles

Clarification - MS first party doesn't need to push boundaries with visuals. They can leave them to third party with Series X.

There will be even less difference between Series X and PS5 than there was between PS4 and Xbox One for third party games. It will be marginal.

Try telling people they don't want Horizon 2 built from the ground up for PS5 and should be playing Halo Infinite instead which looks like an Xbox One launch title. I'm fine with Halo Infinite looking 'okay' (I love Halo) but a lot of people won't be and it sure as hell ain't a selling point for a new console.

And we've all seen how Xbox One X with slightly better multiplats totally turned the gen round for MS. Not.

The comment saying it can't be classified as "RDNA 1,2,3,4,5" sounds obfuscation. Even if it's RDNA 1.5-1.9, I think PS5 will sell just fine. No less than xbox series at worst.

Most of the games shown or talked about are in preproduction by devs who've been working on them for years..

@letshavefun: Perhaps the rumoured Perfect Dark game. Perhaps something Gears of War related. Maybe a third party exclusive. I don’t know. They’ve said that they are going to have a show each month up until launch so it only makes sense that they’ll have some stuff that they have yet to have shown.

I am beginning to think that 12tflops will be such a waste of power on the XSX. MS has zero talented developers to take advantage of it, which is very shameful

Gears just came oame out not long ago. There's no way they're ready to show anything new unless a logo is what you'd consider as an exciting showing. MS is too stupid to make a proper sequel to Perfect Dark, so you can forget about this one (wish Sony bought it from them IF possible. I can already imagine how insanely good it could've been if made by proper 1st party Sony has). August will be all about their digital X, launch day and prices. The XSX is pretty much boned, and all the hype it had, died yesterday.

I'm not even sure why anyone would buy a Series X at this point. Not like a lot of people bought X1X and they killed it after two and a half years. By the time MS gets their exclusive next-gen games out there, they'll be trying to sell you another piece of upgraded hardware by then.

Not really 3rd party though. That Crossfire from Remedy look pretty decent though character models look similar to current gen CoD.

All the talk of halo being disappointing I was underwhelmed but the gameplay looks like old halo which is good.

When Cyberpunk comparison videos come out sometime after launch. If there’s a significant difference that will be a + for MS.

We all know that at some point when the gen kicks off there will be incredible looking games the problem is its another wait and see approach.

What's the point of all of that power if you can't get as good graphics as The Last of Us 2, Ghost of Tsushima or Death Stranding.

@Mozelleple112: I can't speak for GoT but between the rest of the games Halo's gameplay blows the others out of the water, especially the walking simulator.

Halo's never been about graphics, it's been its unique flavor of First Person Shooter and its gameplay legacy is what sells titles.

I'm worried 343 is a talentless hack of a dev group right now and rushed this title out with poor quality but if the gameplay is good Halo: "Infinitely less ray tracing than promised" is already better than TLo2 and DS.

The issue here is that Halo Infinite looks worse than a lot of the current gen multiplats.

According to "experts" it should be bigger than TFLOPs difference because PS5 can't sustain it and tflops aren't the only metric.

ps5 and xbox series x are basically running the same architectures except xbox series x is 1.77 tflops more powerful, the difference will show.

Don't be stupid.....You can. The hardware in the series X is way more powerfull than a PS4 lol. 343i just arn't good enough to produce quality looking games, that or the whole cross gen bs scaled the game back from taking advantage of the series X.

lol what?....Halo has always been about good graphics and pushing the console...look at combat evolve and Halo 2 and 3....all good looking games for their time. This time around it can't be said about infinite.....sadely. Hopefully 343i can improve it come launch.
