Requirements For Game Of The Year (GOTY)

In Order for a videogame to qualify for GOTY it must have one or more of the following...

• Developer being Bethesda Studios.
• Intense Combat.
• A number in the title.
• Over the top graphics.
• Some guy named Bob, Joe, or Steve making various appearances throughout the game.

Possibly one of the best years in gaming. We got Super Smash Bros Brawl, Call of Duty: World at War, Grand Theft Auto 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Fallout 3, Little Big Planet, Animal Crossing: City Folk, Sonic Unleashed, ect. Has definetially been a year for all three companies, really.

And with the end of 2009, everyone knows what lurks around the corner; Resident Evil 5!!!

Bethesda has never made a game with intense combat, so I guess you're saying that being GOTY is impossible ? :?

Also, there is no number in the title of Fallout 3...

I said ONE OR MORE of the following. That means the game doesn't need to include everything I listed...jeez

GOTY needs to be a game, so it's impossible for Wii Music to be GOTY. 

GOTY should go to Fallout 3.

My money's on MGS4. Not to say I doubt Fallout 3 has a chance of getting it, but I think it's more likely to be MGS4.

Still, there's no way to be certain what game GS will actually give the award to.

Why are people saying Left 4 Dead? It hasn't even been released yet and the demo felt linear.

Looking over everything, I think the momentum might be in the favor of GTAIV actually.
