Recapping Mario Vs Sonic

I was digging into my PS2 collection and came upon Sonic Mega Collection my cousin gave me awhile back. I fired it up on my PS3 and i thought creating topic about how mario and sonic battled during those days. so my questions is

1. Super Mario 1-3/Mario World vs Sonic 1-3-Sonic&Knuckles

2. Gameboy Mario games vs Game Gear Mario Games( mega collection has alot)

3. Mario 64 vs Sonic Adventure(Dreamcast)

well they will be going head to head in vancouver soon, you might as well as put that one in toofunsohng

I always thought the two franchises were pretty even, but after playing the old Mario games over again, Sonic can't hold a candle.

this. seriously, Sonic is not as good as Mario...

2D Sonic had the better music, but the 2D Mario games had better gameplay imo.

Super Mario 64 > Sonic Adventure

And ever since Sonic Adventure the Sonic series has diminished in quality, so Mario hands down wins this competition.
