Reasons why PS3 Slim will be No. 1 seller.

When the PS3 Slim comes out with its price reduction, I think it will overtake 360 in sales. Think about it - the PS3 is only 8 million units behind 360, which had a full year head-start. The PS3 is about double the price of the 360, so if it can make so many sales at double, it must make more at a lower price. Not to mention PS3's awesome lineup of games, and with it's obvious E3 win, more 360 owners will turn to PS3 when they realise their 360s aren't as good as the PS3. This is my opinion, and 360 fanboys will probably resort to childish insults in this forum, but you all know it.

It'll probably be out next year, eventually the older models will be phased out. The parts get cheaper, die shrinks not requiring large heatsinks, blu-ray drives get smaller and cheaper as well. X360PS3AMD05

PS3 will probably be number one in everything else, but never in sales. Sorry.

So you say the slim will sell double than the current PS3 while assuming the 360 stops selling altogether than bash lemmings for going to make childish remarks to your "non-childish" thread?

1. Sony did not win E3, IMO Microsoft put up a pretty good showing and tied with them. Nintendo did not win. At all.

2. Blah blah blah 360 head start. PS3 is behind 360, deal with it.

3. PS3 is not better than 360, or visa versa. Both have sweet lineups, HD graphics and online capabilities. PS3 does more for a premium, stuff that not everyone needs nor wants to pay for.

Having said that, I do agree with you that it will sell like hotcakes. I'm a current 360 owner and I will definitely be picking one of these up as long as the price is reasonable.

Unless the PS3 slim costs $199 or less, I really dont think there is a chance for the ps3 to close the gap between the Wii:?
