Really what's the point of owning an Xbox?

PC or PS4 do everything it does way better with more value for money (Exclusives, multiplats, Graphics etc ALL better on PC or PS4).

Why in the hell would I or anyone even consider an Xbone? Lol.

Exclusives, nothing special on either so far. And better versions multiplats, besides a 180p difference, it's 95% the exact same game. And i'm telling you this as a PC gamer.

People are going to answer "It's about the exclusives" but even during Gen 7, every time MS used the world it needed an * after it and about a paragraph of small writing.

Seeing how XBone hasn't been out a year yet and has already lost a massive chunk of its games to PC and PS4, though, those people don't have firm ground to point fingers from. It won't stop them from being mad at you for making this thread.

because it is simply better than the ps4. ps4 is a ps3 with performance boost. The X1 is a new experience for consoles whether people want to admit it or not. Better features, better online, better service..

..Plus the games are better. Forza 5 > Driveclub, Halo MCC > TLOU remaster, Project Spark > LBP3, Titanfall > KZSF, Ryse > Knack, Sunset Overdrive looks to be better than Infamous SS, Forza Horizon 2 > whatever else, Quantum Break looks better than The Order, Halo 5 > next KZ... imho

If you have a decent rig I think it's the least appealing platform for sure. Both Dead Rising and Ryse (if you wanna play those) were ported and I expect the same to happen with Quantum Break. However for a lot of consumers PC is just not an option they consider. If so X1 is just slightly worse than Ps4 and if you have friends with it, or like some of the exclusive franchises it may tip the scale in the bones favour.

While we're at it, why even have the PS4? Why doesn't everyone just get a PC?

The main reasons people here state for picking the PS4:

1) visuals: well, the PC does ps4 level visuals and then some.

2) Exclusives: PC has a ton a of games NOT on the Ps4. Yes they're on the X1 too, but they aren't on the Ps4, making it the excluded gaming system.

Honestly, it comes down to appeal. What exclusives you like more, which community you like more, and what options you like more. I like the X1s controller, I've made some great friends on live, and I like the direction it's heading in at the moment. I like many of its games coming out, and I feel microsoft is in a great position to purchase studios and developers.

As trolling as i might sound...i'm agree, IMO there isn't that many exclusives that justify an Xbox, at least for me, currently i have my fair share of gaming with my WiiU and PS3, also i'm getting a new Laptop to play some current games, even if it is at medium settings (which are Xbox One/ PS4 levels anyway) and i'm planning to buy a PS4 in the next couple of years...so yeah, i don't nor i will need an Xbox.
