3DS version still on top IMO. Unmatched per pixel lighting!
Am I blind? the Wii U version looks at bit more crisp
Are you sure? The Wii U version runs 720p/30fps. Nintendo Switch runs 1080p/60fps.
look at the pattern on the sleeves
Like the guy above said, probably the AF.
To be completely fair here, we need to compare to the current-gen versions do see if something fucky is going on with AF, or if Capcom just decided to downgrade some things to hit 1080p60. My guess is that they ran out of bandwidth and had to cut down texture quality and filtering. Switch is only about 2.5-3x as powerful as Wii U in docked mode; going from 720p30 to 1080p60 requires a 4.5x increase in power on paper. From that perspective, it makes sense that they had to turn down some settings. So, here's the real question: was it worth it? Does this game really even need 60FPS? Could they have settled for 900p? Should there be a 30FPS option with the improved graphics settings?
Anyone else feel that the 3ds version is ridiculously impressive given when it released and the hardware it released? It's obviously not as good looking, but some of the comparisons it holds up really well!
Found a few of the 3DS titles have been surprisingly good, presentation wise.
The major change with the updated version was arguably infernal mode, something Revelations 2 sorely lacks.
@uninspiredcup: oh what's infernal mode?
