Bullshit or not? They say 60fps and destructive environments will be too much for the switch. But DOOM, Wolfenstein II and ARK: Survival Evolved do work and look visually better imo. Even Crash Bandicoot looks great of switch.

Im just calling it a BS excuse why can't they just say they're not porting it over lol.

Destructible environments are very intensive on memory and CPU........2 area's where Switch is extremely shit in.

And not only do DOOM and the other games you listed run like shit........they also look like shit.....Wolf 2 is such a fucking blur I feel like I have cataracts when I see it running.

DOOM doesn't even run at 60 fps and it's one of the best optimized engines I've ever seen.

ARK looks like ASS. I'm sure it'll run at 30 FPS too.

This.

DOOM runs poorly on Switch and it doesn't even have eviromental destruction.

They are telling the truth. The switch can’t handle current gen games.

The few it has are vastly inferior to PS4/Xbone versions.

Also, switch has the worst online ever and is nowhere even close to being as good as PS2 online.

How is it bullshit? It's time to get used to knowing that Switch can't accommodate every type of game. This is the trade-off for portability.

@PCgameruk:

Welp, looks like you’ve been roasted.

But yes, the examples you give run like a**, and don’t come anywhere near 60 FPS.

Part of what makes Siege good is it’s smoothness. It’s one of the reasons why terrorist hunt is sh*t.

the only way it could work is if the graphics and destruction were lowered to counter strike source (not CS:GO) levels but that would mean no destruction at all.... basically killing the essence of siege.

The games you talked about don't have 10 player networking with destructible environments. It's going to be a CPU related limitation to being able to do 60 fps, the only acceptable level for such a level of a competitive game. Those two also were acceptable with framerate dips.

The whole point of siege is the destruction and how the operators use it with their unique abilities. Removing that kills the game.
