RAGE 2 really shaping up to be best open world FPS ever.

STALKER, Metro Exodus and Crysis 1 are not really proper open worlds but this is.

the previews have been very positive. this is first ever open world FPS involving id software gunplay. no FPS in history before did it. and even with that. it still not looking better than usual 8/10 game or a masterpiece. because most open world games have been boring.

this on other hand looks so much better than borderlands, witcher 3, far cry and assassins creed. because here the advantage is id style gunplay and movement dashing. while former have mediocre combat system.

only 15 days left.

I wonder what the next game is you're gonna fawn over. In another timeline, you'd be making fun of people digging this trash.

read OP. this is the game im expecting to be just great 8/10 game. being best open world because most open world games are mediocre.

Doom Eternal is the game that will be next masterpiece. and this game going to hold me till Doom Eternal release.

whatever. it bound to be better than any open world game released this gen (Far cry, assassins creed origins/odyssey, witcher 3, MGS5 and so fourth).

and the reason why? because of id style combat. and other games have really really horrible combat in open world game.

I will wait for the price to go down and for all the updates to be patched before buying rage 2.

Despite its, if I can say, weird damage scheme, I would not be surprise.

Hated the first game. I am optimistic that this game will be much better.

Before you play the best open world game this gen (which you didn't even list) your "opinion" of what is the best open world game this gen holds no merit. You need to, at least, play the best open world games this gen to have such an opinion. Since you haven't, I suggest that you STFU about this until you have played the games you're trying to have an opinion about in order to not look like an even bigger fool than you already are.

open world games are boring. except STALKER, Crysis and Metro Exodus but they are not true open world games anyways.

Rage 2 will also suffer from reptetiveness since its made by just cause developers but it will be better than others because id style gunplay and that will save it.

No I did not play it. Booth was crowded so I just stood by and watched it. I dont play any of the games at Pax, I prefer just to watch. Clearly the best looking shooter all weekend... the environment is just phenomenal.

This game looks great and I can't wait for it.

I have a feeling Halo Infinite will be slightly closer to this than Halo 5 except Infinite will have that multi-player co-op for SP.

Having 4 active skills looks fun.

I think that instead of having the face buttons for choosing the skills, we could do thumbsticks + R2 to lessen the thumb transitions during combat. Then again that has its own problems too.

Meh, I think it's going to come and go and nobody is going to care. I predict a lot of 7's.
