Rabbids Go Home (Wii), a surprise hit?

Here's a little talked about game here, soon to be out and seems to be off to a good start.

So why should we be excited? Well for starters, it is not a mini-game collection, it is a "comedy" adventure/platforming game. Most importantly, it is designed by Michel Ancel , who is creditedto the likes of theoriginal Rayman games and Beyond Good and Evil.

I expected it but I dont think anybody else did.

I thought this would suck.. I'll get it bargain bin style if it tuns out to be good. (well better than I expect)

Hell even a downloadable side-scrolling Rayman would do some good. Rayman 1 & 2 were so awesome. Some of the best vg music of all time.

The soothing music might have been the only thing that prevented me from breaking all my controllers while playing Rayman 1. Damn that game was hard...

a new downloadable Rayman is coming to DSiware and has already been rated so its nearing release, sadly its just Rayman DSiware (the title) so we have no screen shots to see if its a 3D rayman or 2D

Bah, the DSi is so terrible though. Can't I get a retail release or better yet, a console release?

Yea, its an odd choice IMO too. Maybe a WiiWare port? I dunno.

i'd say the DS gets more "Core" games coz games like strategy titles, RPGs, have sold better on DS then they seem to have on Wii, plus it has 100million users

However i don't know why Ubi makes this Rayman DSiware exclusive (as it may be) as DSi currently has a 10million install base, and while not all wii owners hook it up online, a WiiWare version would surely reach more consumers. I'd imagine they chose DSi to avoid the potential bigger budgets of Wii, and most esspcially XBLA and PSN

I'd love to see a full 3D Rayman on PS3, ah sadly won't happen

(I'd also love a new Gex but thats nevah happening either)
