Quantum Break is better than Uncharted 4.

I just finished QB and is the conclusion I reached.

Gameplay in QB is just a step above:

Combat in QB is much more dynamic, with more enemy variety and combat options, destructible covers and smarter enemies, while in UC4 is just regular TPS whack-a-mole behind chest high-walls shooting. Sure, UC4 stages are more vertical, but with the awful platforming mechanics of UC4, the least said about verticality the better. Actually, the best way to approach combat in UC4 is not fight at all, but play a poor-mans MGS stealth approach, at which point the vericallity becomes a hassle rather than an asset.

The reason while vertical stages are a hassle is explained in the second point.

Platforming in both games is weak, but at least is much less common in QB and muuuch less convoluted and not constantly shoehorned into combat section. Yes, platforming mechanics in QB are far from great, but they are straight forward and marked with convenient indicators and with puzzles that don't interrupt the flow of the game as often. Platforming and puzzles solving in UC4 is just frustrating, without clear direction, implied of otherwise, often devolving into humping every wall until finding the one where Nathan will finally grab on the correct ledge or make the correct jump. And to make matters worse, whole hours, more than the actual half of the game, is dedicated to plaforming sections in UC4, with big sections of backtracking and even shoehorned into combat. UC4 tries to give you the tools of an Assasin's Creed game but without the freedom that makes them manageable.

About the story, both game have bloated, self indulgent B-tier stories, but at least Quantum Break allows you to skip most of it, while in Uncharted is more than half of the actual game.

Finally, graphics. I don't know how the Xbone version holds up, but I will give the nod to the PC version of UC4. First of all, 60-80fps > 30fps. Second, real time lighting is much better in QB and the environments are more interactive. However, UC4 does has better IQ (even when compared to the PC version of QB) and overall higher production values, but this is often diminished due to the low framerate, bad motion blur and limited interactivity.

In resume, Quantum Break is the better game.

On topic... I played Uncharted 4 and it's like a 7/10 for my tastes. Didn't play Quantum Break as of yet.

Obviously its better game. its more unique and has better storyline.

Quantum break is not masterpiece but its one of the better game released this year. incredibly underrated. beside shitty TV show.

Quantum Break for me had a lot of unique ideas but those ideas didn't come together as well as I wanted them to. Overall, it's still a good game that gets a lot of hate for some reason.

Uncharted 4 on other hand plays it safe but what it does, it does really well. The execution is good, which allows different elements to come together more organically IMO. Max Payne 1/2 on other hand are my favorite Third Person Shooters.

I say the same, Uncharted 4 just feels like a indian bollywood movie. I hate the gameplay, overal the graphics are nice buth not as good as the PC version of QB.

You're welcome to your opinion but I disagree.

I enjoyed QB and I enjoyed UC4. IMO UC4 is the better game. I've always enjoyed UCs style of story telling mixed in exploration, gun play and QTEs, although I thought QBs gun play is far superior. Both were enjoyable and I don't feel one has to be better than the other.

While I feel the powers gave QB far more versatility than UC4, there's no denying that it is out-and-out the worse game of the two.

Okay here's the deal for me, I've played both, the only thing I can give Uncharted credit for above Quantum Break is overall refinement, overall it's a more 'professionally' put together game if that makes sense, that's where it begin and ends though.

The platforming and climbing in Uncharted 4 is absolutely absurd, it's well done, but there is so much of it makes you question the review scores on this aspect alone, it's to a level that made me almost drop the game. The best way I can describe it? It's the Arkham Knight bat mobile of Uncharted 4.

The combat is much less varied, it is the same enemies over, and over, and over again with the same attributes and encounters. It really is "whack-a-mole" type combat that is of the most basic form, and the AI seems very generic and overly agro, in a dumb way. The gunplay is also inferior for my tastes, it feels like an afterthought rather than well oiled mechanical design, it comes off like plot filler rather than fundamentally good combat.

Story? I'd put them on the same tier for that, I really like both in that regard, Uncharted 4 very much tickles my National Treasure/Indiana Jones itch so for that I find enjoyment in it.

At the end of the day they're both good games, they both have strengths and they both have faults, honestly I would rate them both as 8/10 games, though it puzzles me how Uncharted 4 is so highly rated.

I would love a source that backs up what you say. Funny thing is I always hated Gears (and pretty much all MS XBox exclusive IPs) and I have been very vocal about it long before you even existed.

I only used DowngradeCharted 4 since it's the 4th title in a row to be downgraded by Naughty Duds that also charted high on sales and review charts.

Combat in Quantum Break is ACE, I love it.

But there is like 2 hours of that. The other 6 hours of the game is watching other people do stuff :/
