I voted for it too...Man I hope this games doesn't bomb. Nintendo needs to understand the importance of franchise variety.

Never was personally, doesn't appeal to me.

I'm still excited, dissapointed but I hope maybe they can change some of these through updates.

And they need to understand that when they produce variety or new IPs, they cannot afford to infuse it with antiquity, do half-ass measures that would be pushing standards expected years ago, and have people stand for it, and then blame them for not buying it and as an excuse to not make any more.

There's not a day too soon I'd love to see this management leave.

After doing a lot of info. if Splatoon is worth it, nope. Not anymore. I was gonna buy 2 Splatoon for me and my daughter but I'll just get this game for my daughter to play on her Wii U. Next time, when your doing a new IP, don't downgrade, the same can be said to Star Wars: Battlefront.

I was never hyped to begin with, but I'm still getting the game. Trying to purchase all Nintendo exclusives for the WiiU regardless of quality. I'm insane like that. I have a feeling the game will be fairly fun though.

Nope. I was never hyped for it in the first place. I think it looks interesting, though. I may get it late this year or early next year if it's good. I'd like Nintendo to put a demo out on the eShop for those on the fence.

The game definitly feels like it has more character than I initially thought. Sort of a 1950s vibe.

Yep. This was one of the most exciting games of the year for me, til the typical Nintendo ass backwards bull shit details came out.

No, but I never really was. Cool concept but I have zero interest in anything that involves Nintendo and the internet combined.

More hyped then ever. Cant wait to add this game to my awesome Wii U collection. Them colors yo.

Never was in the first place. An Easy pass and in my opinion the game will be dead within 4 months.

The Wii U is the console of gems. I make an effort to buy all the worthwhile exclusives. Lots of games also go out of print and are worth more. Wonderful 101 and Pikmin 3 for example.

I was never interested in it. Only purchased my Wii U for Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and Zelda.

Exactly. It is rather obvious. The color palette, the angles, the style, the water/sailor theme, and I'd even say the music too.

I watch that movie back in theaters long time ago, I totally forgot about the Animation style it had. Good movie at that.

Day 1!

Looks fun, just not at $70 CAD.

I'm far less hyped for it, but I'm also hoping there's more in the way of local multiplayer. Still dissapointed though, with the way this game was originally presented I thought it would begin a new Era for Nintendo and online multiplayer. Even if it would have been only a small nudge, rather then a giant leap.

What's the status of local multiplayer these days? Do most games even have it anymore?

This game looks like a mixture of The Kids Next Door and Mario Sunshine, both things I hate.

It looks awful, and paint does not give the same satisfaction as real bullets.

Splatoon is more of a "I don't have anything to buy/play right now type of purchase" instead of a "must buy it day 1"

No but will buy it when it's cheap (assuming the price ever drops).
