Now before you claim doomsday, this is in reference to physical boxed sales... Digital sales are unknown.

The original game only sold 27k in the first week with a much higher install base - so 14k with just the physical sales counted is not a bad return for the game as the PS5 has a much smaller install base.

@mesome713: Indeed. The comparisons are first week physical sales. Seeing as the PS5 has a much lower install base - I would wager more than half - then getting half the sales of the previous games first week shows that it sold well physically for Japan.

I noted in another thread it is the UK Physical No1 for the second week - and the sales in the second week were higher than the first

LOL. They didn't flopped, Xbox fan. Returnal was in top 5 just with one of tracking on both US/EU PS store. In May was in 2nd place. Demon's and Sackboy are in Top 20 on PS Store across US/EU for 7 months already. Returnal was also in top 10 on NPD charts for 2 months in a row.
