It's clear the price has been holding back this game.

According to Tencent and PUBG Corp., PUBG's mobile edition was the "most-download mobile game" in 100-plus countries for its launch week. The companies also announced that the game sees around 14 million daily active users, which is a massive figure.

I look forward to reading how this relates to the Xbox. ?

You know you can hook up a Bone controller to your phone?

I had to look that up to even know what it is, so a tiny controller on a 5" screen.

well anyway, I watch movies on a 10" screen so who I am to say playing a competitive shooter on a 5" screen doesnt make any sense.

@tryit: They are tablets, so who knows what they are using. Either way, both Fortnite and PUBG are more popular on phones than on all traditional gaming platforms. The casuals have left us. Maybe now we can control what EA does.

People forget that kids have grown up with touch screens and are dam good at using them now.

I'm a little curious about the split between Android and iOS and what the most popular device is, but not much else.

@tryit: people are clearly having more fun playing o their smartphones than you on your PC. You need to accept that people have different tastes.

I have never been interested in mobile games, but I think PUBG did a decent job translating to mobile (from what i've seen.) I stopped playing on PC after 15 hours or so.

They have specialized HDMI cables for phones. So you can hook it up to your TV.

In other news, PUBG outgrossed Fortnite on PC in June. But Fortnite is way ahead on consoles (partly due to PUBG's Xbox exclusivity).

Yes, and have you tried it? it´s not the same as on pc or console.

And it´s not bad for a mobile game.

let me get this straight.

you are sitting in your living room with your consoles and your PC in the other room or the same room and the one device you pick up to play a game with on your big screen TV is your cell phone?

I have never seen anything on fortnite that I do not find out right annoying.

Not everyone has a console or a PC for gaming. Some just have a smartphone and that's it. For them they could either buy a console that's over $200, make/buy their own gaming PC for over $200, or spend like $80-120 for an HDMI cable and controller/adapter of their choice.

so we are all in a gaming web forum dedicated to consoles talking about how awesome it is to play game for people who do not have consoles or PCs because they can throw the only device they have (a 5" phone) on to their big screen TV because clearly a person with no PC and no console in the house are going to know about Fortnite.
