I think the PSP slim was more improved than ds lite. The ds lite was just smaller and in new funky colours and brighter screens.
The PSP slim had extra features like > Plug it into TV
> Longer Battery
> faster loading
> smaller and new colours
I think thats all the improve ments to the slim
There are TONS of special edition DS lites, mostly all are in Japan while the U.S. gets all the slightly good ones. the only psp special editions I can think of are the God of War one, and the Crisis core one. Meanwhile the DS gets one for at least 1/5 of its games(in Japan). Heres an example But image tons more like it.
Heres another
My PSP slim owns the others and DS in terms of design but I still think the DS has better games, heres some pics for me to brag about what I own.
It came with a special edition version of Crisis Core and case also.

"Smaller"? Yeah right! There's barely ANY difference. And also, the DS Lite has longer battery life than the original DS.
One question though: have they fixed the ghosting? That's probably the one thing hate the most! It burns my eyes!

Better disc tray? Didn't Gamespot say that it was worse? :?

I have the Pokemon Limited Edition one from Japan.
I could sell the thing for like, 500-600USD on ebay.
But it's just so pretty.

They said that because GS is biased :roll:Nintendo DS Lite.
Brighter screens, better look (MUCH BETTER LOOK!), more colors, drastically lighter and a better button layout for the microphone and start and select buttons. The only bad part about the DS Lite in my opinion is the d-pad and four buttons, I think the original DS had better buttons.
1. DS Lite has a longer battery life as well if you keep it on the lowest level of brightness.I think the PSP slim was more improved than ds lite. The ds lite was just smaller and in new funky colours and brighter screens.

2. DS Lite is a lot smaller than the original DS.
3. Uh, duh... the DS has a lot more colors than the PSP.
4. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? The DS doesn't even HAVE loading times!
Whoever thinks the DS Lite just added a brighter screen is in denial. This is coming from an original DS owner that upgraded to a DS Lite at launch also.
[QUOTE="AgentA-Mi6"][QUOTE="the_h_bomb"]DS lite was more improved and is better because it has gamesCoolyfett
and the psp doesnt?
Why do they always say PSP has no games? Im looking at 11 right now?
yeah only 11 games worth playing while the DS has tons of those..
anyway, DS lite for me since it really improved a lot compared to the PSP

Can you name those GREAT 11 games I own, since they are the only ones WORTH buying?

No, but can you read? "Buying" is different from "Playing". And by calling them GREAT means they're your own preference. If I'm a fanboy, I would say that the games I own and played are "GREATER THAN YOURS". But then, I'm not biased on things (especially in handhelds since I play with both) so I won't really say them.
Looking back on my last post, what I meant was "PSP has fewer worthy titles in comparison to the DS". And as of now, it's still a fact.

"Worthy Titles" is opinion. You can't even beat Grand Theft Auto.[QUOTE="Jyuusandaime"][QUOTE="Coolyfett"][QUOTE="Jyuusandaime"][QUOTE="Coolyfett"][QUOTE="AgentA-Mi6"][QUOTE="the_h_bomb"]DS lite was more improved and is better because it has gamesCoolyfett

It can't even beat an italian plumber or a chihuahua
The DS Lite was probably a bigger improvement just because of the fact that the original PSP was slightly better designed all-around than the DS. However, both the Slim and the DS Lite are excellent improvements upon their worthy predecessors, and are both worth the money.
On the topic of games, the DS has a larger variety and probably more portable (travel-friendly) games, but I'd say that the PSP has the edge in terms of "hardcore" games (for lack of a better word). Games like Crisis Core, God of War and Silent Hill Origins feel like you're playing a console game, and while that's not particularly appropriate for a 30 minute train ride, I'd much rather play SH: Origins than something like Brain Age, and I'd rather play Crisis Core than one of the Crystal Chronicles games. The PSP is also home to a lot of amazing ports: FF Tactics, Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles, Megaman Maverick Hunter X and more, and while the DS has a couple cool FF ports (III and IV), I'm more a fan of the style SquareEnix used to port FF I & II to the PSP.
All in all, the PSP seems to be a better choice for gamers who want "serious" games or games filled with nostalgia, whereas the DS is a better choice for those who want a quick "pick up and play" experience. The DS is also better for people who just like Nintendo. ;)

REVOLUTIONfreak
Hell yes it did. Much better buttons on the old DS. I loved them. Why change to those GBA (original) poop? The clicky ones felt much more reliable.

Grand Theft Auto is not beatable.
