Got a PS5 for christmas and all my games are digital but 1 and when the disk was install and started to play it PS5 was really loud.Is that good or bad?
Games don't play from the disc anymore as far as I know. They are only used as installs and first checks to run the game. Everything plays from the SSD or ext HDD for backwards compatibility games.
It's the initial install of data. Once installed, it shouldn't be loud at all. It'll read the disc and then be quiet. At least, that's how mine is.
mine still randomly spins but not too often
From what I hear, PS5 went to desperate measures to increase production to sell more consoles early on. In doing so, they outsourced some of their parts to other manufacturers. Because of this, the fan unit is made by one of about 3 manufacturers. The original fan unit is nice and quiet, the substitute units have a problem with being loud. This could be your problem. But if it's only happening with the disc, install the game to the HDD, then remove it and play it if you can?

its normal, mine is also pretty loud when the disc drive starts to rev. But the drive doesn't rev that often, only on installation and to check DRM periodically
