PS5 Mic Recording

I just found out that the mic records players when you acquire a trophy from this article. Is this something that can be turned off? Also, is there any notification informing the player of this feature? And finally, what other moments triggers the mic to record?

Seriously Sony wtf? It even turns on automatically during multiplayer apparently. I hope they patch this shit and let you disable it at all time.

To disable mic and videos (maybe you want to hide ur reaction to nier automata panty trophy) here below.

Settings >Captures > Captures > Video Clip Format > Include your Mic's Audio > on or off.

Can you prevent the mic from automatically turning on during multiplayer?

Right now my big issue is the tempest engine. I am waiting on receiving another pair of headphones to test it out, but if it sounds the same as on my HD598SR, holy shit, what a disaster. The worst muffled shit sound i've heard in a while. You turn off 3D sound, and the standard stereo is so cleaner in comparison.

Didn't they say that was coming down the line? But Tempest engine should be good, Sony REALLY talked it up. I think Xbox has something similar maybe.

No, the tempest engine is already available, but only through the headphone jack on the controller or through usb with compatible amps. Its not available through hdmi yet, but will in the future. Through usb and controller headphone jack, its a shitshow.

Every time I get an Achievement I utter ‘is there a way to turn these dumb things off?’.

Seems like people should want to disable the trophy recordings anyways because I hear it causes SDD to fill really quick.

Are you forgetting that the kinect was always online always listening for commands it never turned off the eye always awake listening you say something you probably see an advert for it on xbox in the next few minutes thats disgusting to me pedro its not to you is it?

Well you missed out because I remember playing Battle Arena Toshinden with my launch PS1 and it was magical. I was a big street fighter fan back then and man it was just so amazing to see how nice that game looked. Also I had a friend who bought the Saturn even though we both swore we wouldn't buy either a Saturn or Playstation because we both owned 3DO's and we were waiting for the M1 updgrade. I remember playing Daytona at his house with the draw distance in the background that it would only draw 3/4 of the screen. I would tell him Ridge Racer was better but to be honest both were awesome. Daytona had much better music and more love because it was a fun Arcade game.
