agreed. it's definitely a few steps in the right direction. it's best when the game gives you wide open areas, options and then gets out of your way. when it flits back to its tightly scripted roots it feels jarring in comparison, like it was trying to be new and give you a sandbox to play in, but just couldn't shake off enough of the cobwebs of previous games for it to really work. it had a bit of an identity crisis. definitely better though

The PS5 controller is amazing, so I can understand the bitterness that has caused to certain people.

While Exodus is Excellent game but i cant say its best Metro. it doesnot have atmosphere of 2033 that creepy and dark atmosphere with dark ones and Khan. something missing in Exdous.

@dabear: Yes, Xbox has had spatial audio available since Xbox One X which supported Dolby atmos, Windows Sonic, and DTS. Spatial Audio is new with PlayStation as they just had it for the first time now with PS5.

Lmao you are grasping at straws OP. First, the game is still the best on PC, no questions asked, keyboard and mouse are far better for FPS, and the game will look better on a PC.

Second of all, as nice of a controller the new Dual Shock is, it wont add much to the immersions, its just cool but that is it, certainly better than the XSX controller though.

Third and most importantly, as of now Tempest Audio is garbage. It does not support surround speaker setups (big missed opportunity) and even on headphones, it just sounds awful (have tried it using both a Steelseries Arctis 7 and a Corsair HS70 in Spiderman Miles Morals, turning tempest on sounds like garbage, as if you are under water, better left turning it off). Lastly, for immersion, playing games on a nice 5.1.x (or higher) surround setup is far better than playing on headphones (especially gaming headphones, which tend to sound worse than regular/studio headphones)

@Archangel3371: Before you buy it please notice that it is very slow-paced and there is a lot of open-world wandering. It isn't for everyone. It is a far cry (no pun intended) from the more straightforward in-your-face action shooters like Doom and Wolfenstein.

I borrowed the game for free and quit after around 5 hours. I got tired of walking around trying to figure out what the hell to do next. The game looks beautiful on my Xbox One X and must surely be even better on Xsex.

In reality though, PS5 doesn't get the best anything. Especially not an FPS also on PC.
