Sony's Playstation 5 SSD is truly super charged. The SSD is so quick that it can be considered as GDDR6 ram. The Playstation 5 has over 800gigs of GDDR6. If you don't believe me, you don't know your tech.

I have no doubt that you can build a PC that is better. But it seems to me that Cerny has done a good job with the design of the Ps5. Being so focused on data streaming speed from the SSD. I think this will lead to many good things. Given how price sensitive consoles are it's kind of amazing really.

I store everything in my 8700mhz DDR5 RAM. SSD's are oldskool.

(@ronvalencia Ron, do you think fast DDR5 is going to be important to make use of UE5 Nanite or next gen AMD CPUs? I'm guessing as Nanite is a rendering technique will make use of the GPU's GDDR memory instead? And AMD CPU's have benefited more than anything from fast RAM, but less so in their second gen... so I am guessing that we expect gen 3 to not be so heavily impacted by RAM speed?)

cows they are so delusional they even try to power battle with the pc, and they have the weaker console. A ultra fast ssd lmao, fast load times are nice to have, but not as nice as gpu/cpu speed.
