1080p/60 with higher AF on PS4 vs 900p/60fps and lower af on Xbone.
But the parity continues right lems?
That was already known months ago that X1 version will be 900p while PS4 1080p. Why make it a revelation out of sudden? Last time I checked PS4 still ran Sunset Overdrive in 0p. Judging by this thread, this must still hurt.

LOL salt the fries comment.
are your fries so salty because you're crying all the time?
Nonetheless will get this game on a sale. It's supposed to be good.
So another high quality game for the Xbox One to go along with the exclusives such as the AA last month, the AA game this month, and with the Master Chief Collection next month at least another AA next month and games such as the AAA earlier this year.
"Brutalizes" Jesus you Sony guys lover to exaggerate eh? Did you watch the vid side by side there, they are nearly identical. You aren't getting some crazy superior version like high vs ultra quality.
If you need to slow stop it to point out differences it isn't a problem imo. The bragging rights come from things like Sniper Elite 3, that is brutalized. Tomb Raider is also decently better (while not bad on X1)
Shouldn't we just have a sticked thread for all discussion like this? It's out of control how many topics we get on this stuff.
LOL GPButt-ring thread.
Performance between the two console versions is surprisingly like-for-like, leaving general image quality as the only real differentiator between the two. As such we have to give the nod to the PS4 version for producing a sharper overall image with its higher resolution and superior texture filtering.
Xbone has the the inferior visuals version. Nothing really new or surprising as the multi-plat trend continues.

Hell no. The Piss 4 can barely keep it around 50fps on those 2. Not sure about thd resolution, but shitty, unstable frame rates is not something to brag about.
Now Murdered Soul Suspect, wich runs 30 vs 60, that's something. Still, that game has barely any action on the screen.
Now with that said, SW is clearly better on the ps4 than xbone. Juts wish teh performance wasn't shot on PC, as DF pointed out.
"Brutalises"... Yeah you console gamers are hypocrites.
I played Shadow Warrior at 2560x1080 at 100fps.

Yeah but the X1 can't hold 30 fps sometimes in Sniper Elite 3, plus it has horrible screan tearing and weaker overall video settings. Tomb Raider is 30 vs around 45 frames which is a considerable increase. I didn't know Murdered Soul Suspect was 30v60fps but that's interesting.
Also I wasn't comparing to the PC, you started that comparison. I was simply talking about X1 vs PS4, and how it sometimes has a pretty good gain over the X1 but usually not. "Shitty un-stable frame rates" are still superior than the X1, and that is what I was trying to talk about.

Not as big of a difference though , unlike the PS4 Vs Xbox right?.................................pfffffffffffffffft :P
Hypocrites one and all but we already knew this didnt we
Double to Triple the resolution and double the framerate = Barely any difference
50% more resolution same framerate = Xbox got brutalized..
*facepalm*

Good idea. Have one topic that's constantly updated on Resolution/FPS.

You cows sure do like to make mountains out of mole hills.
Sorry, but if you need digital foundry to tell you there is a difference, then the difference isn't that big. And, both sucked compared to the PC, so I don't exactly know why you are pointing to this article - except that fanboy cows tend to have the cognitive capabilities of their real-life bovine counterparts these days...
Both console ports turned out pretty well, but the frame-rate doesn't quite hold up as firmly as we'd like. It's still an acceptably fast performer but the slowdown encountered in certain battle situations definitely detracts from the game's polish. Performance between the two console versions is surprisingly like-for-like, leaving general image quality as the only real differentiator between the two. As such we have to give the nod to the PS4 version for producing a sharper overall image with its higher resolution and superior texture filtering. Still, the Xbox One version is solid in its own right and shouldn't be skipped if no other options are available. If you have a powerful PC, however, we'd have to recommend this version, especially with the promise of its upcoming DX11 patch that will - hopefully - resolve many of the outstanding performance issues.
That's your "brutalization"? HA HA HA HA HA!!!! Again, mountains out of mole hills. Poor cows.
muh parity, muh stacked gpu, muh sdk, muh directx, muh esram, MUH CLOUD
lol xboned again.
It's funny that cows are the only ones still mentioning that stuff, directx, stacked gpu, sdk, etc. Most of the Xbox fans in here aren't making excuses, they just don't care. Nothings going to make an Xbox as powerful as a PS4, everyone gets that by now. But it's just not powerful enough to matter overall, there is nothing possible on an PS4 that isn't possible with a couple tweaks on an X1. If it were like the Wii U where third-parties were passing on it because of its power, that would be different.
Old reso news to DC the fact that the Awesomocalypse has arrived.
Sony Fan continue to be the clowns of SW.
I read that as kuu2. Not sure many would disagree.
LOL GPButt-ring thread.

= Brutalizes? SMH cows....SMH
Lol couldn't let the cows have it. So you gave it to the hermits. Are you satisfied?
The point is, the PS4's version did not "brutalize" the XB1 version. Mountains out of mole hills...
Not what I'd call brutalize. But there is 1 game that will brutalize the Xbone.
Bloodborne 1080p 30fps 10/10 on PS4, 0p 0fps 0/10 on Xbone.
The way the title was written I expected something bad. I'm ok with the usual 180p difference. Xbox One does a whole lot more and has a whole lot more to offer.
Perhaps I should start a thread every time a multiplayer game comes out shouting how much better Xbox Live is or the fact the software/services is so much better.

"brutalize" was just an over exaggiration for a thread title. But the fact is, it's 1080p with better texture filtering. Brutally better? Nah.
But, is the difference enough to sway a purchase of a PS4 over and XB1? I say no - it still comes down to game availability, price, online, etc.
in about 20 days a lot of butthurt will be given and a lot of DC will be needed when dragon age comparison are out. Be ready lems.
Do console gamers even care about this game .? This is the first thread I saw from a console gamer about Shadow Warrior and guess what , it is yet another graphics/performance thread instead of game itself . Sad , how such an amazing game is being overlooked because it wasn't hyped to death or wasn't shown on TV or at WWE .

Well it will sell more on PS4 period. So availability will be more for the PS4. Price will be more for the PS4 also because more sales normally means more used copies. Online, well XBL>PSN for sure. But when most games don't utilize MS servers, there won't be much in it. Even when the servers are utilized, will the average person be able to call out that difference. Kind of like the graphical differences.
The thing is, Sony is marketing the PS4 as the "Worlds most powerful console". That is luring people in. Trust me it is. They don't care if they can't tell the difference, all they need to know it what the marketing told them. They are going off what Sony say. That is of course the average non fanboy gamer who will buy any console as long as it's the generation leader. I have had the PS1, PS2, 360, and PS4. All gen leaders in the industry. The only difference is I am more aware of what's going on in the industry than the average person.
You personally are an Xbox fanboy. So you wouldn't touch a PS4 version of a game anyway. So you are the wrong person to debate these things. But I wouldn't think of buying a multiplay on XB1 unless it's online was massively better. Which I am yet to see (smaller amount of players etc).
Just because I defend the XB1 does not mean I am a "fanboy". I give Sony a lot of credit when it's justified. I acknowledge games like Uncharted and TLOU as awesome titles that everyone should take notice of. What I don't do, is tout 1080p over 900p as a "brutalization".
At least OP didn't say 'manhandles' this time.
I bet his next similar topic will be "PS4 sodomizes Xbone in blah blah showdown".
Nice I've been looking forward to this. Glad it runs good on both systems. I'll get the PS4 version myself.
"brutalized"?.. looks like more of the usual "virtually identical".. unless you're using Digital Foundry level equipment while actively looking for minute differences, these games are all looking the same.. and for me personally, that unnoticeable difference in visuals doesn't come close to outweighing the Xbox One' advantages in terms of multitasking, multimedia, and overall system features.. I mean, does the PS4 even have notifications for when friends come online yet?..
but go ahead and keep clinging to your microscopes gentlemen.. congrats?
